Why are DR set to 24 hours on express? Leads to never-ending DR abuse.

DRs should be set to 3 hours since PS-es are 2 hours long.

Ya, but wouldn't it be faster to just change the time it takes for DR to vanish, instead of a mass change?

i agree. last express set i played this guy got ab to hell then triple tapped me and i couldnt get my land back cuz it was in the last 24h so he was in massive dr the entire time.

No? it's currently hardcoded

Wait, you're saying changing the DR time would take LONGER than completely rewriting how DR/GDI/retal code/etc etc? I don't care about changing the Express DR time but wow, code is really weird I guess.

oh yeah I've seen you explain that elsewhere. Makes more sense. I don't care about Express DR anyway except when it's abused

I feel the game should have been coded based on turns and not time. Instead of forces returning from a PS 10 hrs in Team, 20 hrs in tourney, 2 hrs in Express, etc, it should have been coded to return in X number of turns elapsed. Same with market goods, 12/18 hr bonuses, and DR. It's a turns based game, should have been coded as such.

The Nigerian Nightmare.

But that's how express works. You get more than 6x the amount of turns (than Primary), so you can realistically deal/receive 6x the amount of hits.

Their countries would be shambles. Even mediocre players that play it now would get chewed up and spit out.
