while it is a close battle, i really can't justify putting omega over RD when RD is taking #1 so handedly.

RD has not cheated. what objectively do you propose they have done this set? aside from take care of most of the suiciders for the rest of us?

for now i'll adjust. currently a tie for 4th place between RD and Omega

analogy from what i've read above:

if clan X have a country that has more kills than any single country from clan Y, then clan X will get ranked higher (despite losing the war), because of a single "achievement" from 1 member. as long as we are on the same page and we are following the line of the average member/alliance performance on a whole being irrelevant.

i like it. it would sure make winning a war easier.

Besides the free land that that country got from intra-clan farming, I wouldn't be surprised if he's been FAed a few. I'm good enough to know that 250M for a 50k farmer is a pretty big stretch.

Maybe. But

1) How do you think he got that land?
2) He didn't get the land super duper early.
3) He didn't switch from Dict until 9/7. It safe to assume he probably had little to no stock at that point unless he was FA'ed consistently.
4. I buy the market part if he played it correctly since it was a pretty high bushel price set, but I'm not totally convinced he had enough stock to make up that huge difference.

In the end, I don't know if he got FAed. He definitely got free land, which is "cheating" in itself. I can buy that a very talented player playing the perfect set with the free land can hit 250M on 50k acres, but I don't know anybody in RD who is that good.

pretty much the same group of colors since earth 2025.
many of whom have publicly acknowledged their past identities, all quite celebrated players. and all of whom now play solely for RD, as their given color. same skill they had before.

I don't consider any of RD's top finishers since EE started to be skilled netters, since they all benefitted from intra-farming and/or FA. So in that sense, nobody currently in RD is a top tier player. There are definitely some good ones, but none that can finish #1 without free land.

If you told me hanlong or gramberto were hiding out in RD again, then I would say they have good players.

basically highrock, what Vic is saying is that because at some point in time in the far past when these players were running bots and doing other stuff, they were also apparently running great clean countries.

of course the lack of a good (clean) RD finish in EE is just due to lack of effort. or something. and the mediocrity of their finishes on sets that they play clean is not relevant to this.
