Safest netting clans are (in no particular order):
PAN - The clan that I'm in (although I'm off this set). We've won TNW three sets running, and we could use a couple extra netters to really battle with TKO given their recent influx of new talent.
TKO - Biggest netting clan. They've got the most TNW crowns in EE FFA, but they've had several down sets recently and PAN stepped in as the top netting clan. They're giant and don't really need you, but I'm sure they'd be happy to have you.
ESD - Bunch of old school netters. In fact, it's still led by Dragon. Since I remember you from old FFA, I'm sure you were around for some of the time ESD existed back then. They're about the same now. Excellent under the radar netters. They're a monster in the ANW category and last set came up just short of winning TNW.
KSM - Not quite as accomplished as the other clans, but KSM is relatively new (about the 3rd or 4th set if I recall correctly) and they've handled themselves nicely, improving each set and staying out of needless conflicts.
Personally, if I were you, I'd pick one of the non-TKO ones, because TKO is once again the biggest netting clan and isn't really in need of new players. TKO would be a great place to play though.
