Ok who all is there playing?

I've got an account on there, but haven't played it for 4+ months...

IRONMAN probably still plays, crackhead used to play at one point, and Deci used to play as well, not sure if he's playing still or just sticking with xbox.

I have been getting the itch to reinstall the game and see what upgrades they've done. It's a great game

yes its good if you likes tanks and are willing to learn to play it and invest money on it to not suck (not necessarily invest money but it takes long time until you get enuf ingame money to buy some good tank simply by playing).

not me. I'm reverting to Q2 WoD. i finally forgot how to move forward with mouse2 and can bind the hook to it now.

I haven't paid money into yet. Soviet has...but he likes to be cool that way.
But we both play, in same clan as Pally and Drow.

i havent played in a long time. I've invested some money into the game, its not bad

Before you buy any tanks from that site, a person needs to check on local/state regulations/laws regarding those tanks. In quite a few places they're illegal.

It is a great game but really not play for free.
They make it near impossible to reach top tiers without investing time and money.

I know two people that play tier 10 tanks and haven't invested a dime.

Basically you'll spend your time with the main tank you're trying to level and a tier 5 tank that is going to make the money.

Soooo If you need to be that cheap to play lower Tiers forever that is up to you.
No you are not just going to play one Tier 5 to make 6 million in credits let alone losses you might incur without a premium tank or account.

The british line came out a few months ago. Then they just added the British TD's

Throw in a Chinese line but really not worth much.
I dont think I have seen a Tier 10 from the Brits or Chinese in clan wars yet.
French arty still gets some play but otherwise they just seem to be pushing out new tanks to cover up issues.

i downloaded the client again last night

I play wot and am the recruiter for my clan. only time I spent money on it was to buy a 6 month thing of prem. But if you want a good money making tank for non prem players try the m4 sherman and the kv-1. Both are great money makers and tier 5 tanks too.

Once you reach tier 7 tho I do recommend getting a prem account. Now have about 3 mil creds on it while I work my way through the t29 to get the t32 us heavy.

I have also tried war thunder too but to much lag for me. And couldnt deal with the russian players tho the wait time was was shorter then on the euro server.

But if anyone playing wot needs a casual mature clan hit me up here or there. Name there is Cabrito_loco. I play on the NA server for those who wonder. Or if ya need someone to platoon with and got ts3 I dont mine platooning tiers 5-7 but I can buy a tier 4 if need be. Mostly run 5-7 tho and I normally play with one of my clan mates there too. He can run tiers 8 and 9.

does the KV-1 still have the 152mm derp gun? as well as what is it, the 107mm gun?

They split it up so you got to get the KV-2.

The kv-2 has both of those guns. The kv-1 only has a 122 derp and a 85mm. They have changed some things from my understanding. I only started playing around about 9 months or so ago. But they have added the Chinese and British tanks since I have been playing.

the KV-1 has the U-11 122, which is pretty fluffful, innaccurate and fluffty pen. the KV-1s on the other hand has the d25t 122mm, which is frickin awesome!
I play on the NA server, where I am known by the nick Thatperthguy.
currently I am grinding the IS-3, which leads into the IS-8 then the IS-7 at t10. also play with my Hetzer and StuG at low tier running pure Sprem on their derp guns for the sheer hilarity.
(for those unaware, you can buy gold ammo for credits these days, at an exchange rate of 400:1. so a 10g round would cost 4000s.)

yes the pen is not that great but I never had a problem penning anything I faced when I used it. I swapped to the 85 on mine for the fact that I like the rof better. But I love using derps to snipe with. Now thats fun. Nothing like getting a derp kill from 400+ out lol.

I always had issues with the 122 and penning, so I ended up sticking with the 85, simply to guarantee getting the damage. If you don't pen, you don't do damage (well unless you're using HE, which does minimal fluffful damage on a non pen) and said same with the 105 derp on the M4. but the 122's on the IS series and on the KV-1s absolutely rock. The Hetz and StuG derps are utterly brilliant with Sprem, but as I said, unless you have an epic battle, you ain't making money with them.

aim for the weak spots. the 122 on the kv-1 is best when your top tier. when your not then play it like a med and flank the enemy.

true, but that's going to take the next several months, due to the KV-1's lack of speed.
I love my KV don't get me wrong, but it's better wit hthe 85 than the 122 IMO. I honestly get more damage/kills/utility out of the 85.

The IS utterly rocks, so long as you can get over the fuel tank armour :p

yeah the IS is a good tank with its gun. Amour on it sucks tho. The T29 is a good tank too if ya can hull down in it. Almost half way done with it. Love the KV-1s too. Plays much like the IS with weak amour and good gun.
