This site is now popping additional windows whenever I go there for the bonus.

This is incredibly annoying. I suggest you consider discontinuing this service.

Get a better pop up/pop under blocking application. You shouldn't have a problem. If you don't already have good anti-virus. After pop ups I've had attacks on my computer that nortan caught. If we bother them they may disable the adds.

i haven't got any popups so could be that your comp is infected.

Actually, you are wrong. No viruses are involved.


The latest top100arena website has added javascript code to popup a new window containing an ad served from http://ads.ad4game.com

When you visit the page, a cookie named "a4gPopUnder32713" with the value "3" is set on first visit by javascript, and set to expire after 86400 seconds (1 day). Every subsequent visit to the page, the javascript code will look for the cookie and decrement the number by 1. While the number is larger than 0, the javascript code will cause a popup ad to appear when you click anywhere in the top100arena voting page.


So the fact that you don't have a popup means 1 of 2 things:
1. You have visited the top100arena page and seen 3 popup ads in the last 24 hours.
2. You have a popup blocker of some sort installed.

Most modern browsers have anti-popups included in the browser by default, this is why the javascript code specifically only opens a new window (popup) on detecting a click event - because this is the only case where the browser deems a popup permissible (popup window due to a user initiated event).

So I just edited the cookie to expire in year 2025 instead of tomorrow. I will probably never see the popup again. Hopefully.

i have ads* in adblock-blocklist so i won't see it.

I'm not saying its a virus. I'm saying I've had attacks after pop ups in the past.

I am verifying that I have not seen any more popups from t100 voting site since editing that cookie. Lol.

I don't think I have either, and I haven't done anything :)
