Same here, pure idiocy. I used eestats calculator and forgot to change the govt type from theo to demo

Tip: Don't use any tech calculator. Just go to the saved spy ops, and read the Weapons% off there (it is correct to the target's government, to 3 decimal places). You still want the original spy op open in another tab though, to check his allies% upkeep costs, and def bonus%.

Well, for 60k countries, the building costs are equivalent to the old formula's 102k-sized country... that's gotta be a problem.

Look at the 71k farmer up there... his construction cost right now would be equal to a 121k country under the old formula, that's just crazy... However, if he has gotten 35 days of -building costs... I think that's equal to -45.5%, then the building costs would just be equal to a 66k country under the old formula.

It's safe to say he got the building cost bonus, but even then, that means he's paying higher expenses, or taking less turns, etc etc

The ending NW will be different.. because people that are huge probably went for building cost instead of decay bonus, and building costs pays off earlier compared to decay bonus

However, decay bonus is worth more when the food price is high, like right now with $48 food.

It's pretty hard to work out whether -building costs or -expenses bonus for Commie Indies is better though.

Steal Tech and Bomb Banks are not protected by GDI (like SS/PS), so doing any of those twice would also break GDI (you can find who is stealing from you by trying to 1 tank AB countries until you find one that doesn't say "Your GDI prevents you..."

I'm uncertain if doing it even once would break GDI though, but twice definitely does.

So, sredeefpoT elppirC I (#103) flung 3 CMs at Mojo Jojo (#159) after 14 days of stocking.

Then suddenly dropped all his land (from 47k to 106, yes that's 106). Then switched government to Dictatorship, causing his NW to drop from 52m to 38m, and dropped another 5 acres to 101.

What's going on?!?

Edit: My deduction is that since both countries are in GDI, and the bigger Theo didn't ever attack the smaller one before, the smaller Theo must have been stealing tech or money from the bigger Theo, and the bigger Theo decided to war with insane SPAL now on 101 acres as a Dict?

Edit 2: Since the 3 CMs only killed 6 buildings each, they must have been used AFTER the drop in acres to 106, rather than before, since damage done is limited by the attacker's building amounts of each type of building.
