So I used to be in the top leadership of MD back on the old server about 10 years ago (under a different name), but I stopped playing. Whatever happened to MD? Any MDers still hanging around here?

On a different note, I think I want to play again. I see the alliance server just started. What's the best clan for an old MDer? I stopped playing 10 years ago so I basically am a newbie. Any suggestions on who to join?

MD closed its doors in Earth several resets ago. Some of them might still be playing Astro Empires.

We have a handful of MDers playing in Omega right now. Off the top of my head, jeff24, Gibber, A-Rod, and Mangoman.

Laf always supported MD in the end. Tried our best to keep them going but omega farmed and killed them too often. Sorry to say it dude.

i almost joined laf. g=) but i heard there were old MD ppls in omega and i never played in omega. but they were always our closest allies. so i joined omega g=D

hmm some great choices...i do remember all 3 being fairly close to MD.

i played under the name Viola. i was part of probably the second generation of MD leaders after people like Samoan, Diocletian, and Mags left. at various points i was a DL, VP, and FA.

Yea, we need to get those AE people back.... but anyway, you could join Evolution :) Which is the merger of RED and un4givn ;) MD was reasonably close when Smart Liberal moved over there...

All those clans badmouthed MD the moment they were gone! They insulted all your moms etc.

On a side note qzjul perhaps someone should go talk to them there and see if they wanted to restart MD here? One of the mods doing it might be able to convince them :P If anyone knows how to find them there anyways

Yeah, it is kind of sad to not see them on the scoresheet. 'Course, most of them are so old they could not have read the scores without bifocals since around '05 or so.

g=) i remember viola! ivan know your MD history! MD and omega go hand in hand! perhaps in recent years md and sof have been like that, but thats not how it was, especially when viola played.

MD + OMEGA = BFFS 4EVER!! (and MomegaD.... + SoF = M0m0megaD)

I do remember those days when MD, Omega, and SoF were all very close :P

i don't consider myself of the md of the last couple of years. g=) until last month i'd not played in 2 or 3 years, and then it was in ska. when i think of MD i think of the early 2000's. i pretend the one toward the end of the decade didn't exist

I'm pretty much sure that MD had ceased to exist when I left the same, back before omac. Then, I'm not entirely sure SoF exist now so I obviously have a rough grasp on reality =P

MD closed their doors near the end of E:2025. I was there for a little just before they did so, acting as an FA type and such. bombay and academus took most of tthe gang to AE.
I retired altogether for awhile then got dragged back to PDM :p

We warred the whole set: we stopped when our leaders signed a CF but since we didn't have enough some of us supported RAGE in their war.

Doesn't seem we are demo'd to me :)
