Wondering how many cs a demo techer should have in team right now I'm at 204 cs with 56 bpt.

as a demo farmer i get to 80 bpt before 1st batch explore at 1900 acres and no reason techer should have less.

what is your tech at your first batch, marshal?

i personally don't batch explore until i am at 170+ for bus and res, and will be above 168 after,

i do all of this with 80bpt.

Land goal as there's ideal bpt for lands but team being a shorter set I'd take a little cs off
As a 10k techer I'd say around 50 us ideal


180 turns for 50 bpt 10k takes 200 turns total turns used 380

260 turns for 70 bpt 10k takes 142 turns to build so total used is 402

300 turns for 80 bpt takes 125 turns to build so total is 425

on your land goal work it out fairly linear sums

This set my demo techer has 140 CS, although 180 probably would have been better. But I'm stockpiling already on ~12k acres.

Next set I might try 260 CS and grab to 25k acres.

people tell me that the ideal BPT is SQRT(goal land/4).

140 is "little" low since you wasted alot turns in building up rather doing other things.

like teching, shade :P as a techer you want to spend as few turns building or attacking (or even worse, spying :P), and as many as possible for teching.

I agree with both of you. However I treat Team a bit like a solo server. Race to ~6k acres and spend a couple of days teching while prices are ~$3000.

The cash generated from that can either be used to grab and jump out of range. Alternately I can have some fun with the markets! Or both. I'm still in the top few to reach 12k acres.

This week, I've been playing with Indy tech in Primary; and bushels in Team. It might not be the optimal strat for final NW, but it's great fun :)

i do look forward to your finish. we'll have to start comparing stocks ingame, as i reached my landgoal and plan to cash out the remaining turns (til destock, at least)
