I'd like to introduce myself to the community.
I played Earth 2025 back when I was in Grade 10, and have had the itch to play again.
I ran into a bit of a hiccup when I found out Earth 2025 died, but all was well when I found this Clone. It's nice to see that this is more than just a clone, and that it is still very much active and maintained. (and upgraded)

So far I am enjoying my first set after a number of years hiatus, and hope to exchange a few decent hits with you all. (I have with a couple of you so far)

Greetings! I'm not going to give you a winded post on how my alliance is better than another alliance. SoL wars, occasionally nets and is trying to make the server more fun.

If you want to give us a try, we'll welcome you with open arms. If you go somewhere else, we hope you have fun, wherever that is.

No matter where you land, make sure they help you get back into the game. Get to the basics and don't worry about being the best right out of the gate. It will come in time and with learning.

This "clone" pretty much retained most of the Earth2025 players when that site shut down. So some of the bigger alliances are still here from 2007. LaF, Omega, PDM, well you'll find the rest in the Alliance listing on the main page.

Where did you play back in the days? We can hook you up with people that you used to know, and see where you want to go.

Well.. I have already met a couple Countries from LaF.
Last I played, I was not in an Alliance. It was mostly a competition with an old friend of mine to see who could crush who.

Last I played I'm pretty sure I was a rainbow. I'm trying a different strat though now that I'm a little more grown up ;)

I'm goin' to hold off on joining an Alliance, as I'm curious to see what I can manage to learn and accomplish solo part-way through a set. I'm not opposed to the idea, but a word of warning to any alliance... I know very little of the terms that are being used, so you will need to explain a fair amount to me for the first while.

solo in alliance = won't work (besides very few known players)

if you want to play solo then try primary or express or ffa.

Being an untagged in this server is guaranteeing you will meet a lot of people... but they are there to rape your land away.

If you join a tag you get the protection offered as well as experienced instruction. I suggest you join a tag... the set is young.. only about a week and a half into a 8 week set.

good luck going solo sweetie I tried alliance without a tag and got double and triple tapped by like 25 different people lol I'm in a tag now though haven't got attacked once TDK is always looking as well again good luck

If you like a small, tight-knit alliance and you want to net, evolution is a great place to learn the ropes and ease your way back into the game.

But definitely join an alliance. Otherwise, as others have said, primary or express are your best beta as a solo player.

Solo smashing with a friend is always fun =) But expect to be hit a lot by people looking for land, and expect unfair retal policies. Other than that, good luck and have fun. =)

When you grow tired of being farmed by randomers, you can consider other servers like Express and Tournament for this sort of thing, or you can consider grabbing your friend and tagging up with an Alliance just for the extra company.

I've seen many a new player, and was one myself a few years ago. And I have to say from my experience. There won't be any tag with training that can match ours.

So if you want to learn quickly and get a country to be involved in netting or warring. LaF's the place.

Alot of fun can be had playing solo. But it takes more skill then playing in a clan.
There are rules that everybody must play by. Most are built into the mechanics of the game, others are by the admin (ex: no multis)
Clans play this game weird. They make up strange extra rules and expect everbody should follow them.
And if you dont play by their made up rules they cry about it.

tella already mentioned us at evolution so i'll skip the hey we are great bit. I will say that I was in your same situation where i came back to this game years later after playing it in middle school and high school and have enjoyed the last couple years here. great group and and teachers.
