are that power consumption values right?
Ie. B uses twice as much as A?

B uses 37 KW/h more than A, a monitor is typically on (for a geek) like 7hrs a day..
7hrs * 365 = KWH/year
KHW/year * cost of electricity = extra cost of B

I'm wagering inside a month, two months, the usage cost of B has has cost you more than 2 of monitors A

tl;dr - A is like a jet/turret. B is a tank. A is the better choice

though it's 37W, not kW/h heh; and at 8c/kWh, that's like $25/year extra power

if you are going to do a bit of gaming the asus is the best choice among the 3. if you are planning on gaming on 4k you'll need to spend almost $2k just to get decent framerates on current games :D i'm waiting for the asus or a dell wqhd to go down to around $400 before buying :/

I would recommend and IPS type monitor... The contrast and veiwing angle is sweet. I got one and you can take a huge difference.

4k screens would be nice too :p
