the new member restriction is only good if it goes away after a bit. also, why on earth would you prevent a new member from being able to post bugs? that just makes no sense.

most likely it would be an old member who wants to remain anonymous while they spam the crap out of the B&S section because they lost everything on the market because they were too dang drunk or stupid to be able to play the game properly.

Maybe tie the "new member" status to how long the profile has existed, instead of post count. It's easy to post a lot to get rid of the status (if it was working), but tie it to when the profile was created and keep them a new member for a whole set, or two and you won't get the "old member who wants to remain anonymous while they spam the crap out of the B&S section because they lost everything on the market because they were too dang drunk or stupid to be able to play the game properly"
