Describing my accomplishment as a dictator is like me saying I placed 12th in a race on a bike, while everyone else was using a car. And to use extra salt to the wound - your salty tears if I may - I did it as a noob.

It's relative. He messed up my set when I wanted to do well, it's only fair for me to return the favor when he thinks he's going to do well. That so happens to be this 2 sets later.

At the end of the set I sell all tech for 1k each. (autobuy). So whichever tech I have it doesn't matter because they all sell for 1k. So I rather have tech that gains me net in additional ways. Not to mention the additional deterrent effect they have. I have no intentions of using all my missiles on the 1st or 2nd person who RoR's me. It's only if I find the person's actions warranting it.

For an example- Fine Day LG'd me 3x this set. I could easily wreck him right now; but, he LG'd me because I was landfat at the time and my RoR was larger than his 3 attacks.

Deathfromabove is another story. He has 98% jets and 2% turrets and is at war with Torch. He has a DR of 49 and decides to top-feed atk me because I disagreed with his suggestion of changing EXPRESS rule with GDI on suggestion board. He thinks I was the player 'imyourlittlefluff #88 Republic" two sets ago, and it wasn't me. I was 'The Borg' and 'Tuvac' all Stak Trek characters; but, since he wants to ruin my set because of assumptions, I will return the favor 10x over. I have no sympathy for him and no sort of peer pressure will convince me otherwise. The war ends when he changes his name.

I find it amusing how BYOB is spending all his $ on turrets to avoid this catastrophe. He only has $180 left in his pocket. I love this. I gave him one day to prep. I told him in game I was going to attack. And now it's time to show the power of this fully powered operational death star.

Let's say HYPOTHETICALLY you had 11 mil turrets with 140% weaps tech..... as a dictator (like myself) with 141 weaps tech (like myself) I only need 6.2 mil jets for a break (which I have). I'm certainly not jet heavy. I wonder how much land I would get for being in the 96% networth range (with the new max gains rule change) PS w/ 130% military strategy? Oh say that person has 20k land. I wonder if I can break a 2k LG on EXPRESS?!

But my point is- you can't outrun a dictator. All you achieved so far was you increased your expenses by buying lots of turrets, thereby affecting your 330 turns on hand. So not only is my 1 PS going to take your land, but I have also affected all 330 of your turns.

You can't just AB someone with 100 attacks at the end of one set and expect nothing to become of it. Especially not with me.

It's already well known that a dictator can break anyone if they want the way bonuses stack up. At least with under 1400 turns spent I'll still be in good position to bounce back

I'm guilty of the low tech prices. I had to follow suit though. Last set I was stuck selling 1.5 mil tech at 1k.

I know he wants to try and sell all those turrets before running his turns. The longer I wait though, the less likely they'll sell unless he sells super cheap. Most will be buying troops / tanks for net.

What does oil cost on the private market?

I already bought the oil for my attack. I learned that mistake 3 sets ago.

I found a post saying sell to the private market at 30 and buy at 300. But it is rather old and I wondered if it had been changed.
