then after i very cleanly and fairly embarrassed him in a retal, he decided to say wtf and RoRed me.

it's funny, because all of his posts here show he really wants to fit in. he was run out of the game as the multi runner joke n0b fazer and now he's tried to reinvent himself as furious. and with very very pathetic results lol.

you know, fazer, this is just a game and I'm not going to get upset over your cheap play anymore.

but since you seem to care about the game, i'll tell you this much. i really think you would enjoy it more (especially since you yourself told me you are going for wins, not to mess peoples' sets up), if you stopped playing like a jerk. try not to hit countries that can retal, and if they do retal, be a man about it and walk on. to say you are going for a win and to justify your play as aggressive and with foundations in alliance (please, i could give lessons on alliance grabbing) is just moronic. i promise you you will have mediocre finishes at best playing like that.
and you can lie and say it's fun for you, but we'll both remember your early messages to me when you said you were trying to win. and after a while this sort of game play will tire you out and it will tire out most everyone else playing, and you'll drive a lot of players from the game and bam, we'll all be be free again.

Vic, I try to win every set I play. Whether I will achieve wins or not I do not know but I like trying.

You are mistaken to think that there is only one style of play that can win. When I played in the long ago no one would have dreamed that maintaining tiny expenses and gaining land by land trading was a winning idea. But it has proved to be so on Alliance.

I do piss opponents off, as you got pissed off, but that is not my purpose. I expect to be hit by others - whether suiciders, netgainers, people who just like to lob missiles, whoever - and when they land good solid blows I congratulate them. I commend that approach to you. But if you, or others, would rather get cross and throw insults well and good.

For this set you and I war it out. When the set is over I will hold no grudge. I hope that will be true of you.

it's a turn based strategy game.
it's based on math. there are turn efficiencies and you play your countries terribly inefficiently. your grabs are really super inefficient.
