More ghost acres then actual land was taken?

I have noticed that on most/all? of my grabs

if thats the ee.hekkan.com news feed then it shows whats in parentheses as gains + ghost acres

instead of 500 (100)

it shows 500 (600)

I had that once as well. Meh.

i have a lot of mil strat, also, when i made that grab it showed up as most acres grabbed and less in buildings. i think boxcar reported some of the actual acres as ghost acres.

Ghost acres are acres that the attacker gains from an attack, but that the defender does not lose. Ghost acres don't always just all come from buildings anymore.* Therefore, the boxcar news doesn't always correlate exactly to the unbuilt acres gained and buildings gained that are reported to the attacker ingame. The boxcar news shows acres lost by the defender and ghost acres gained.

what you are talking about is NW ghost ar.

to get the most out of it you have to be a dict and you have to be hitting a fully built country, you need to be bottomfeeding ( less then 1/4 your size -ish ) oh and mil strat 120 + / but yes it can be done, gaining more ghost ar then the land gained.

also if that was from boxcar then yes you did gain more ghost ar then you grabbed.

i gained 375 total ar the the defender lost 139.

i haven't perfected it just yet myself as i am trying to use it to shove your l;l fluff up your ass tbh. in this example i wouldn't mind giving up 139 ar for the l;l.

I am surprised more people don't do this seeing they have had three years to perfect it.

with the huge countries we use to do it, for me personally i cant be bothered with it anymore

that's pretty much why i don't get all excited about playing. they gain 2 to 3 times what i lose. would work great if i wanted to grab.

yes, but i quit an Express set because of 3 or 4 grabs done to me that had similar results. think it happened in the last 6 months. maybe a year ago. suppose i could go find my Whine-O-Minute thread.

not sure that it's possible. i think they might fall off into the abyss. i attempted to do it once. it was a very long journey and I'm just glad that i made it back alive. though somewhat necrotic.
