why should you since you aren't even playing?

by joining GDI you are able to greatly simplify the game
no more worrying about how many tanks to carry to avoid being ABed
no more worrying about number of troops required to fend off guerillas
no need for large spy bases to protect your tech
since even a tiny spy base will eventually succeed against a giant spy base on a spy op
you can keep a small to moderate SPAL and still attack pretty much at will
no need to worry about missile defense
if you join GDI you can pretty much play beginner's express and still "win"
all 24 of the "top" players were in GDI last set
that stat holds for months on end
you can pretty much farm the lower tier players and not worry about any retal
as long as you do not double tap them
there are no real disadvantages to join GDI other than the restriction against double tapping
GDI players claim they are the "good guys" because they farm new players but never double tap
they make this claim in all sincerity
really they do
so if you want to play a very very simple version of express
join GDI
