I was 24hr retal policy enforced (#50). Missed my last 50 turns because I was in an area with no Internet access.

On another note, can everyone just sit back and check out that last 15-minute jump that Oppa (#74) made? Noticed he just came out of nowhere.

#74 was sitting at 14m a day before, not hard when you sell sell sell and store turns then play last 360 or so at end with cash on hand.

Didn't have time to play this weekend but glad I taught some idiot a lesson for 5x tapping my country.

All good. I looked at the scores last set and knowing this was a tough set price wise thought I might scrape in. Figured out a few more things. (Learnt a hard lesson about corruption when holding 2.4b). Aiming for 20m next set ;)

I woke up at 4 am for once.

It'd be pretty tough for me to do so, since whenever I sell when trying to store turns is when I tend to get grabbed (which is why I don't try to not play when selling).

Case in point--on Friday, I just happened to log in to someone who had failed a spy op on me a couple minutes before. I had sold military before, and had over a couple hundred turns on hand, so I ran some turns to get turrets up. Not a minute later, the country failed a grab on me. I retaliated a couple minutes later, sending the country the Standard retal message, only to have that country successfully RoR not even a minute later. I then RoRoR'd him, sending him another retal message, warning him not to try grabbing me again. I mean, I was willing to give him another chance--I'm not a complete monster. I get back to the main screen, seeing then that the country had sent a couple missiles and started ABing me. He sent me a message saying he knew he was wrong, but he wouldn't back down. I knew from the spy op I got from him that he had less than 20 turns left, so I grabbed him 3 more times, sending him another message to not interact with my country again. By this time, my country was pushing 3.5mil and still with about 200 turns on hand, and his was barely touching 2mil, and almost out of turns. Lo and behold, he was lemming my troops when I got back to the main screen, so I dumped some of my missiles on him, talking almost 2k acres from him, then asked him if he wanted to walk away. Me and Ratski came to an understanding (again), and he walked away. All this played out in 15 minutes.

well you have to consider if you are not a demo even holding 3.5b cash isn't as bad as paying commission and higher then private resell price for bushels, or paying more expenses buying military. All comes down to how many turns you are playing in corruption and the cost of bushels at the time with cost of mil tech to get better resell rate.
