Triple Crown status is debatable. But I'm proud that we took TNW... And by a huge margin. IMP was 4x the TNW of the #2.

Nice job to those guys that are much better than me at hugging trees, and kudos to the kill squad that kept us safely growing the last 60 days.

No, never joined ICD this set. If I had I would probably have ended up losing countries and time to the JAM war.

Probably also the first time the Nr. 1 Ranked Tag in TNW had almost 20x more countries than the tag coming in 2nd in TNW :)

Probably wont see that happening ever again.

Was a fun set, could have easily taken 1-2 Top 10s there in the end, but the goal from the start was to get the best TNW/ANW for a 16 country string. Just too bad I couldnt break 12B, but at least I raised my the ANW from last set by 30m (from 711 to 740 something).

If someone is super fat with close to zero def, I will probably grab them myself. Playing that style is silly.

Pay your military expenses like most everyone else or accept/expect the alternative trade off.

An opinion I agree with.

But when you need to send 7m (if I remember correctly) to make the grab, I am not exactly running 0 defense.

So at that point, I would have to make a decision, that if 7m is not enough defense, do I

1) want to let Primeval continue to farm me
2) pump up my defense to the point of running a cash deficit on a casher
3) declare war on IMP

In all probability, it would depend on how disgusted I was with my builds. Hehe.

And that's the other trade off/consequence on the other side. Enforcing one's own ideals regarding landfatness could often result i detah.

I'm sure there's no real rule, but I'm guessing 7m def points would probably deter me from feeling I'd get an easy grab depending on the amount of land being defended at that time, of course.

I just like adding into the equation that it's not all about your gain. Mentally unstable people can have unpredictable costs.

You should factor that into all equations.

7m points = 7m troops. Doesnt sound like much def for a fattie

I always count mine in turret points (i.e. 2). and had approx 40m def (turrets), which would be 80m points, before starting stocking last set. Guess thats why Sfp decided not to grab me :)

I'd say a low end deterrent is around 1m turrets per 10k acres.
