Tech sucks so hard so early that techers with brains are probably converting.

I think it's just really volatile. Like if you get 5 good techers instead of 4 the market tanks. I dunno but 90k bus/res sold in the last 24 hours and the average price was under $2k. Tech starters have begun to attack now as well.

He should clearly go anything BUT techer! One look at tech prices says it all. If people aren't running for their lives away from techer right now I don't know what to say. Casher would be better than farmer, though.

I would never be a techer in this reset, because if I had been, I would have converted or would be about to convert. It's not too late... We need fewer techers this set and this is coming from a non-techer.

You'd be a lot less behind than you'll be if you stay a techer. Really, 4-5k land conversion is not that bad and can be overcome. Only thing that puts you more behind is that your competition (cashers, farmers, whatever) has been able to buy sub 2k tech so far.

The tech market has left me a little butthurt these openijg weeks its true. Converting isnt awful as long as you have good defense. I converted at 21k acres last set and lost 6 days due to tech crashing with 5 or 6 of us teching all around 20000+ acres. So converting at 4k is nothing if you have good BPT 60-70. You will lose 3 days tops but end up possibly better in the long run. If your not already a techer dont waste your time teching unless you want to war someone. Then tech war techs and convert after to a farmer or casher.

I AM a techer and id advise you stay away from teching there was next to no tech sold above 3k where it should have started. Cashers and Farmers have a huge head start with good food prices low military costs and cheap tech. But we will see how this set plays out.

Thing is, tech price is going to slowly rise anyway.

Non-techers grow faster than techers due to the low tech price. Some techers will get grabbed, especially the lower ranked ones. Demand will then rise faster than Supply, causing tech price to rise.

It is true. I am also converted. Everyone convert quick best move you will make all set

Yay!!!!!, bottom feeders!, I just got grabbed for under 100 acres by a current top 10 country, I can't wait to see what he does when I hit him for over 1k acres *drools*

I dont understand why bother grabbing a country so much smaller in land that will only yield just over 100 ghost acres, it just doesn't make sense to me with so many much fatter countries around me with similar NW. :-/

Oh well, let's see what happens when I rape him for 10x what he got me for.

It's because he is doing SS attacks that the gain was so small. He's also not GDI and probably isn't that strong a player.
