Join an Alliance, and ask there.

LAF, Omega and Monsters are the top "netting" alliances.

This is a very thorny problem, because this is the "in between" server.

One one hand we have the Alliance and FFA servers, which are all about politics and working together.

On the other hand are the "solo" servers, where nearly any coordination is against the rules.

The trick is to remove on-going politics from the Team server, to stop teams from working together as blocks, in order to differentiate it from Alliance.

One clear way to do this is to implement random Teams. The limit could even be reduced to 3-4 people, but if that was to happen then perhaps resets should be every 2 weeks instead of monthly?

Personally, I reckon that if you want to play with your friends, do it on the Alliance or FFA servers. Monsters had 5 people last set and Sodawater won Alliance. Clans are so small now that you only need a couple of people to provide tag protection.

If you want to be in a 5-man team with your friends, and war other 5-man teams, then organize for it to happen in Alliance! if you want to join together with a few other 5-man teams, and war, then can I suggest Alliance!

TL&DR:
The only way to go is a Team server with random teams, perhaps with slightly faster turn rate and slightly shorter resets. Otherwise this is just Alliance B.

rate of decay is 0.1% per turn (so 1 bushel for every 1000 bushels on hand)

One of the new changes scales production when population is less than 80% of max population.

A batch explore from 1800->3600 acres causes a pile of turns with reduced production. It's most noticable with an indy.

Anyone come up with a way to minimise the production loss, while still maximising exploration land gains? It seems like a different tax rate may be optimal when batch exploring?

Vic, I'm still unclear of the purpose of this thread. Sure, you're announcing that there will be an "internal investigation that includes review from a third party". But the rest of the words in your first post don't seem to actually mean anything.



But RD leadership isn't providing any indication that this is going to happen. All I can see is the same spin that has characterised AT for ~15 years.

If RD leadership wants the community to actually believe that there has been a change in RD, then you gotta actually give the community something other than a paragraph of pretty words.

You need to take unprecedented steps to convince the community that you're legit. In particular, there's a pile of talk about openness and transparency. Are you really committed? Or is this just spin?

I challenge you to post screenies of the internal discussion that led up to the posting of this thread, and any other discussions about RD's public response to this cheating incident. Unedited. Quickly.

What were the internal musings on how to approach the Earth community? How did you anticipate people would react? What are your next steps to ensure that RD survives and that you retain power?

If you want trust, you need to actually be transparent.

I was #12. Learnt a lot about Rep cashing in express. I was the largest RG in the game, but beaten in final NW by 3 others.

In particular I need to get more land earlier, to break 20m NW with a grabbing casher.
