How Mehul Stole Christmas

Mehul hated Christmas! The whole Christmas season!
Now, please don't ask why. No one knows quite the reason.
It could be regret at his lack of foresight.
When he neglected clan hosting on the Echelon site.
But I think that the most likely reason of all
May have been that his heart was two sizes too small.
But, Whatever the reason,
His heart or the day,
He stood there on Christmas Eve, hating 1A,
Staring down from his cave with a sour, Mehuly frown
At the warm lighted windows below in gamerstown.
For he knew every member down in EZclan below was busy now, clicking and costing him dough.
"And they're supporting other sponsors!" he snarled with a glare.
"They're taking my money it's really not fair!"
Then he growled, with his Mehul fingers nervously drumming,
"I MUST find some way to stop 1A Christmas from coming!"
For tomorrow he knew every 1A lass and lad
Would wake bright and early and rush for EZClan.
And then they would click on each and every banner ad.
That's one thing he hated- Inferno's banner ads.
And THEN they'd do something he liked least of all.
Every member down in 1A-ville the big and the small
Would sit close together with Christmas bells clanging.
They'd sit keyboard to keyboard and 1A would start spaming!
They'd spam! And they'd spam! AND they'd SPAM! SPAM! SPAM! SPAM!.
And the more Mehul thought of this 1A-Christmas-Spam.
The more Mehul thought "I must stop this whole sham!"
"Why, for almost 5 years I've put up with it now! "I MUST stop this Christmas from coming! ...But HOW?"
Then he got an idea!
An awful idea!
MEHUL GOT A WONDERFUL, AWFUL IDEA!
"I know just what to do!" Mehul laughed in his throat.
And he made a quick Santy Clause hat and a coat.
And he chuckled, and clucked, "What a great Mehuly trick!
"With this coat and this hat, I look just like Saint Nick!"
"All I need is a reindeer..."
Mehul looked around.
But, since reindeer are scarce, there was none to be found.
Did that stop old Mehul...?
No! Mehul simply said,
"If I can't find a reindeer, I'll make one instead!"
So he called his mod, mick. Then he took some red thread
And he tied a big horn on the top of his head.
THEN,
He loaded some bags
And some sacks for his trip
On a ramshackle sleigh
And he hitched up old mick.
Then the Mehul said, "Giddap!"
And the sleigh started down
Toward the homes where 1A
Lay a-snooze in their town.
All their windows were dark. Quiet snow filled the air.
All 1A'ers were all dreaming top 10 dreams without care.
When he came to the first little house on the square.
"This is stop number one,' old Mehuly Claus hissed
And he climbed up the roof, empty bags in his fist.
Then he slid down the chimney. which was rather uncool,
But, if Santa could do it, then so could Mehul.
He got stuck only once, for a moment or two, Then he stuck his head out of the fireplace flue
Where the little RAGE countries were numbered in a row.
"These Ragers," he grinned, "are the first things to go!"
Then he slithered and slunk, with a smile most unsavory,
Around the whole room, and he took every country!
Clowns with Guns! Genesis! LaF! TIE!
UCN! SoF! Arrow! FBI!
And he stuffed them in bags. Then Mehul, very nimbly,
Stuffed all the bags, one by one, up the chimbley!
Then he slunk to the kitchen. He took 1A's feast!
He took notorious' banana! And the Clowns crack-brownies!
He cleaned out the cubboard as quick as a flash,
Why Mehul even took their last can of whoop @ss!
Then he stuffed all the food up the chimney with glee.
"And NOW!" grinned Mehul, "I will stuff up MD!"
And Mehul grabbed MD, and he started to shove
When he heard a small sound like the coo of a dove.
He turned around fast, and he saw small Sue!
Little Amity-Sue, who was not more than two.
Mehul had been caught by this tiny Clan daughter
Who'd got out of bed for a cup of cold water.
She stared at Mehul and said, "Santy Claus, why,
"Why are you taking my Moral Decay? WHY?'
But, you know, old Mehul was so smart and so slick
He thought up a lie, and he thought it up quick!
"Why, my sweet little tot," the fake Santa Claus lied,
"There's a country in this clan whose personal info doesn't jive.
"So I'm taking it out...if in error, my dear.
Just send me an e-mail and I'll put it back here."
And his fib fooled the child. Then he patted her head
And he got her a drink and he sent her to bed.
And when Amity-Sue went to bed with her cup,
He went to the chimney and stuffed MD up!
Then the last thing he took was the news for every empire!
Then he went up the chimney, himself, the old liar.
On their walls he left nothing but Tar Heel's post 'I retire'.
And the one bushel of food that he left on the market
was priced so high that not even a bot would buy it.
Then he did the same thing to all the multies houses
Leaving LG targets too small for attackers clicking mouses!
It was quarter past dawn...
All 1A, still a-bed
All 1A, still a-snooze
When he packed up his sled,
Packed it up with their countries!
The Dictator-Farmers!
The Republician-Cashers!
The Monarchy-Garbage!
Three thousand feet up! Up the side of Mt. Crumpit,
He rode with his load to the tiptop to dump it!
"Pooh-Pooh to 1A!" he was Mehul-ish-ly humming.
They're finding out now that no Christmas is coming!
"They're just waking up! I know just what they'll do!
"Their mouths will hang open a minute or two
"Then the members down in 1A-ville will all cry BOO-HOO!"
"That's a noise," grinned Mehul,
"That I simply MUST hear!"
So he paused. And Mehul put his hand to his ear.
And he did hear a sound rising over the snow.
It started in low. Then it started to grow.
But this sound wasn't sad!
Why, this sound sounded merry!
It couldn't be so!
But it WAS merry! VERY!
He stared down at 1A-ville!
Mehul popped his eyes!
Then he shook!
What he saw was a shocking surprise!
Every member down in 1A-ville, the big and the small,
Was spaming! Without any countries at all!
He HADN'T stopped Christmas from coming! IT CAME!
Somehow or other, it came just the same!
And Mehul, with his Mehul-feet ice-cold in the snow,
Stood puzzling and puzzling: "How could it be so?
"It came without turrets! It came without jets!
"It came without GDI, bushels or tech!"
And he puzzled three turns, till his puzzler was sore.
Then Mehul thought of something he hadn't before!
"Maybe 1A Christmas," he thought, "doesn't depend on their score.
"Maybe 1A...perhaps...means a little bit more!"
Then he thought for a second of all of their posts.
And realized it's interaction they value the most.
And what happened then...?
Well....in 1A-ville they say
That Mehul's small heart
Grew three sizes that day!
And the minute his heart didn't feel quite so tight,
He whizzed with his load through the bright morning light
And he brought back each country! And all of MD! And he....
...HE HIMSELF...!
