just an idea Zarcon, if you want to give extra points due to the link being down, you can bump the points from 4 to 6 for the rest of the set. that'll cover the 6 days loss of 4 points daily.

If its getting attention it there must be alot of players relying on those points.
Change is irritating becuase at times plannig goes into some of the strats played.
It maybe easy work to put stuff on thr market but itll be easier for the devs to just give some points extra all around..

The purpose goes away.
If i have 50% rd and have a stockpile of cash around 50bn, my corruption charges will be 48m /2=24m.
Thats not an affordable expense no matter how big you are.
Rd bonus only benefits you if you can get it 100%. Even at 90% its pointless.
If one only uses points for RD then by day 47 he gets to 100% and Its already been around 5 days so without those points.

Im learning that the hard way. Might as well remove the bonuses associated with them such as rd and expense.
Not to mention one cant even get the perm gdi anymore as you cant collect 16 in a day.

doesnt look like it. and my top10 strat for this set is fluffed unless we are given the points we were unable to get. thats around 5 days of 4 points daily so total 20 points.

Yes forsure, the addition of bots was a necessary evolution as player numbers were down and grabbing targets impossible to find.
Anyway i just hope the busted bonus link is fixed or we get addition points from the functional links.

there is a big difference between evolving the game and changing it.
most of the smaller changes like dr halflife, bots, nw factors for LGs etc is the games evolution.
removing bonus points is a major change considering players plan their strats in advance and use the points accordingly. I need my bonus points otherwise my strat plan will need to be changed and one month of using the points will be in vain.
