No I understand it, but the thing is demand for oil in this game doesn't change much with price. Yes, some people might build their own oil rigs to supply their own oil, but most people will not.

Be honest, have you ever NOT made an attack just because oil price was a little higher than usual?

So with demand pretty much as a vertical line up to a certain price, suppliers can set a price fix anywhere they want as long as everyone agrees to sell only at that price.

Some ppl are really dumb. Why undercut the current prices by 15%? Because that's the "norm" of what it should be? Who cares what the norm is, if you're going to undercut do it by $1 or something moron.. that's how you maximize your gains.. by selling at the highest possible price you can.

I think in one of the games it has an explaination of bonuses and their max/min's. It's weird though, the "bonus help" link isn't in all the games
