Damn kids, you know that Rage is back!! Myself and other came back to Rage during the last set which accounts for increased membership. SOV did join in on our War Chats to train members on the use of the bot. As for picking targets, hell, I was picking targets and spying your asses off with a 300 spal on my restart.

Even wars are not wars. Pre-planning a war is not war. Waiting for the opposing enemy to get ready is not war. This game started off with each country building in preparation for self survival. Alliances were formed to cover each other's butts. Leaders of the alliances formed somewhat of a "united nations" type structure.

Then it all started going to fluff. Land trading took the purity and skill from the game. Pre-planned, friendly wars were set up. Go back to the roots of the game. Be prepared for anything, as an individual country, and as an alliance, and there would be less crybaby bullfluff. Sure, he NW numbers would be lower at the end of the set. Who cares if you have such a high NW when it was gained through land trading. There is no skill in that.

It's funny how the term government and gun owners are separtated. In the USA, we are one and the same. We the people are the government. Although politicians tend to separate the terms, we the people do not.
Anyone using a gun in the commission of a crime does so with the intent to cause fear, bodily harm, or even death.
Some of our States have mandatory minimum sentences for crimes committed with guns. I would bet that if you took a poll of legitimet gun owners, they would pass a death penalty for crimes committed with guns. That's when the libtards, like Trife, would step up to stop the death penalty for criminals and allow innocent victims of crime to continue dying. So, stick that thought in your pipe and smoke it LOL

July 4th makes me think of the whole Independence Day thing. This post reminds me that, in the USA, I have a first Ammendment Right to speak of guns, and a Second Ammendment Right to own them. So if you do not live in the USA, or have the same rights, then I guess you HAVE to listen to Alin :P

It is so funny how little you know.....inside information is something you might do so stop the fluff. I gave nothing to Rage. As for SOF running our War, yes...we are using their bot, but they sure as hell are not running it. With all the technology and all the experience within Rage, we can figure targets and breaks without taking off our shoes and counting our toes.

OK, enough of this fluff, since 1998 I have spent all but the last 19 sets in Rage....the last 19 sets I had spent in LCNostra.....Loved them both. As for all the fluff, I am tired of reading half facts...I moved up to a RED in LCN and because of internal politics, I went back to vet status and watched the internal fluff get so bad I lfet LCNostra and went back to Rage. Here are the facts:
Prior to last set, Servant tried to arrange a war. Servant then fell off the face of the Earth. We talked Purp into taking over and he advised us of Servant's intent. Servant had tried to set up an arrangement with Rage. Purp looked into it and found old coversations with Rage. He proceeded to finalize the arrangement, got no response form Rage and elected to hit them anyway.
At first I thought it would be fun to war my old alliance, until we found out they were netting and trying to reform. The voices of LCN kicked this around awhile and even I, yes me, suggested that LCNostra might just want to net and let the war go. When the set came to an end, there were very few LCNers happy with what took place, so a Leadership Council was formed and Purp was removed from leadership. Purp went on a negative campaign, as did Trife. Folks that have been/are in LCN Leadership are targets for past leaders and advisors. I am not the only one that left, two others left as well. I give Scribbles a lot of credit for trying to hold LCN together and wish Scribbles the best. Last sets war strengthend the bonds of Rage. Hopefully this set will do the same for LCNostra. So endf the fluff and let's move on. WOOF!!

I have never missed opening day of deer season since the age of four. I come from a family of multi-generation hunters that have included front page appearances in rags such as Field & Stream and such.
I have had the pleasure to fish and hunt all over North America and do not buy into all the hype projected by TV shows and rag advertisements. I have NEVER camo's my face or any equipment during hunting. I also wear blaze orange on all hunting trips. I do most of my hunting in West Virginia now (Deer, Turkey, Bear, small game) and have been successful for the past 48 years. I sold a lot of weapons back in the day under a Federal Firearms License.
My gun case is full, ranging from 22's, 30-30's, 30-06's and 12 gauge shot guns. I also carry a 9MM or 44mag (I have a concealed weapons permit).
If you want to hunt small game - 22's or shotguns
If you want to hunt deer or equivalent size game - 30-30's
If you are taking long range shots - 30-06's
If you want to hunt with a pistol - 44mag
For personal protection, you want something that will knock your predator backwards - 9mm's, 45's, 44mag
Recommedation(s) FACT- 30-30's have been the most popular deer hunting rifle in history
FACT- Remington Model 700 BDL is the most popular sold rifle (comes in different calibers)
FACT - S&W pistols have been reliable since day one
If you are buying a pistol for protection, buy a 9mm. Shop for something that fits comfortably in you hand. For hunting, buy a 44mag. Again, something that is comfortable.
If you are concerned about recoil, that is easily accommodated by the number of powder grains in you cartridges, the weight of the weapon, and the type of grips/or padding. These recoil issues can be discussed with the seller and I am sure he/she will fix you up to meet your desires.
STAY AWAY from Taurus weapons, they damned near put me out of business with all the returns. Even front sights kept falling off.
Unless you are hunting in an open field, stay away from a .270. The slightess branch will redirect the bullet whereas a 30-30 and 30-06 will usually go right through it.....
I am sure there will be comments against this post, but like I said....I have been doing this all over North America for many years and have the seller as well as user experience. Good luck in your search.
