Oh the good old days. Where else did you see LaFers netting alongside SoL, SoF, and Rival members? Smurfy topfeeding Omega every set because they didn't know how to retal, Dragon farming his way to a 40k tyr techer each set and virtually ruining the tech market for all of the all-x TTRs in the process. Chitty and Fatty basically picking an alliance at random each set to topfeed until they would eventually be killed off. And me defending them with FDPs because I found it hilarious (...and I didn't want to be suicided on). It was a terrible server, but a lot of fun.

I'd mourn Ivan's lost top10, but I don't think I'd be able to do it with a straight face

The fact that someone ruined Ivan's country just about every set because he was such a dumb jackass was actually a testament to that server.

Valks will always have a warm place in my heart, it was my first alliance. I think it was Escimo and Bug who recruited me.

Just putting it out there. Valks was only good because they sucked less than the other limited alliances. In the end no one could get enough platinum email addresses to put them in their place. If Valks had a slogan it would be "OVER RATED".

Sucking less ... still means Number 1. :-)

Contrary to popular belief, it took a lot of work to keep the alliance together and active. There were only so many players, with plat accounts, and we still had our internal drama just like any other clan. Leadership was exceptional, which is what made the clan what it was!!

besides it is fun every now and then to play for the clan that owns the server :) especially for someone like me that usually joins an underdog team...
