xinhuan is, or at least has been, a huge contributor of ideas. qz often bounces ideas off of me and some of the active evoers, but it is definitely not limited to that. He asks questions on the mod board, he actually DOES read the suggestions board regularly, he has a whole development sub forum that many community members have access to. I really don't think any one source has bigger influence on his thinking than others. Hell, martian is probably the biggest one....

I would if they were actually an Evo member and you asked me. The reason I haven't done so in the past was because I never knew of any Evo members suiciding, aside from KJ. And that is despite the accusations for at least a solid year about certain Evoers doing so(without providing a single shred of evidence).

im sure ive said multiple times this was one of the dumb parts about the restart change

anyone who has a country killed must have it linked with the previous country in order to get the bonuses

if you want to be anonymous you dont get the bonuses

perhaps its ok to allow countries to be anonymous within a tag but then they shouldnt be allowed to leave the tag without losing the bonuses

and once a country achieves sufficient mass you cant stop it suiciding, all it needs to do is die with enough stuff on hand to steal more stuff

i havnt even looked at this country but if its as effective as the ones that hit laf it will probably suicide a few more times this set

sure we could all agree on longer tag responsibility, in particular i dont like people vacationing for 3 days then suiciding, id always rather time count only while a country is killable

but even if whole reset or cross reset or affiliation responsibility is agreed upon or enforced that just opens up much more efficient suiciding

Suidiciders are the only thing to keep the game in check for individuals who do not agree how the general population play there for is a very vital part of game play.

The only issue, to me, is that one suicider can ruin dozens of people's sets. It takes 6+ people to kill one country. Bit of a mismatch there...

what are they hiding? if it's a member that quit and he/she is a member that not many would recognize, wouldn't it make MUCH more sense to just put it out there, denounce it, pay reps, and move on? They don't even have to pay reps. He was never tagged Laf with that country, so whatever. He IS a Laf member though, and if one of MY members had done something like that, I'd want to make it right with Laf, probably ban the member for a set, and apologize for the bother. If I've learned anything in this game, especially over the past year or so, it's that this fluff ALWAYS comes out eventually. I will find out who played that country one way or the other, and it only serves to tarnish Laf's reputation by trying to sweep it under the rug and ignore it...

Simple fix. All restarts are automatically assigned the tag they were wearing when killed and must remain in the tag for 72 hours. That would go a long way to solving the current issue where restarts with mountains of stock are free to do whatever they please but the alliance that made that stock possible is not liable.
