No, we (at least I) would not have farmed the detagged countries, because they likely have every capability to suicide effectively. We would have to kill the country too, if so.

Gogy's actions while untagged are not related to LaF - he pretty much does his own thing, and said that he would alternate playing tagged and untagged resets to keep things interesting for himself. He does not try to hide his country, and every alliance have had the opportunity to kill him at any time - he even retals LaF.

Using spyops to make an out of game point is Rockman's actions. While it definitely didn't reflect well on LaF, it served to show certain game mechanics were broken (as we did with Landtrading), and expedited the decision to make the changes we saw.

Also, if members asked me to detag them mid-set, I would tell them to self-delete instead.

I'll also point out that we forgot to remove Gogy's access to LaF forums while he was untagged (was it one or two resets ago) - and he used our own member spyop uploads against us to retal, heh.

He probably used the same spyops to topfeed.

I think it was obvious we where both heading for a clash this set, can play victim all you like, but I can almost 100% guarantee if we didn't hit first, in a few days it would have been Tell making an FS post and not Eug.

So not sure what everyone is beating each other up for. Evo seemed to want a war, but I guess you only want wars on your terms?

Gogy and his antics are a sideshow. We were planning to FS you because you refused to pact us and were planning to FS us, plain and simple.

The thing that really pisses me off about you guys is your compete and utter hypocrisy. Set after set, Laf pulls some really shady fluff, and then tells everyone else how honorable you are, and how terrible other alliances are. But if any other alliance deigns to pull the same stunt, it's suddenly the height of villainy. And your entire alliance exists to prop up the egos of a small handful at the top, who circle those less fortunate like vultures. Yes, all alliances pick on smaller alliances and untagged players, but you guys take it to an art form.

And the worst part is that those same people at the top of the Laf pyramid couldn't give two fluffs about those beneath them in their own alliance. When Eug and his ilk talk about sticking up for their members, they mean creating an environment where the top 15-20 Laf netters can compete against each other without any form of outside interference. If you aren't in that 'elite' cadre, you're thrown to the wolves. When was the last time someone like eug volunteered to pay reps or offered up land in order to cover his members' mistakes?

And that's why Laf is one of the most hated alliances in the game, all because some of the most intensely competitive and egotistical people somehow gravitated towards each other and continue to propagate the myth that they are the be-all and end-all of netting is this silly game.

LaF allows me to run a lazy all-x for 2 minutes a day whenever I want to and ensures me the advice/protection of a top 100 (or higher if I actually feel like spending effort on this stupid game). The leadership is always the first in line to assist new players and vets alike.

The fact is a lot of us had fun farming you and crippling you last set. There were competitions between members to see who could get the most enemy hits, which often involved dropping military and NW to be able to hit you and avoid the humanitarians. Do you honestly think everyone in LaF wants to net every set? This game is a joke, and some variety is often welcomed. You guys assume you understand LaF's leadership and membership, when in reality you have no idea what you're talking about. As I said previously, holy crap you guys are ridiculous.

And yes, I'd say I understand Laf's leadership quite well. I don't want to make blanket statements, as there are quite a few people I like in Laf. People like heat and en4, etc, who see this cyclical bullfluff between us as destructive. Unfortunately, the douchebags like eug drown out their voices.

Just to add to that point LaF unlike other alliances actually teach you strats and make sure you follow them. I've been in most alliances and no other alliance does that. Well MD tries to do that but their strats are outdated! lol

Although poor #556 was an idiot and did a TON of harmful ops on #368, which provoked his response. I can post those logs if you'd like as well.

And the other one that I would have been pissed about too: #493. He quit, we detagged and farmed, then he decided to selectively retal you guys. We told him to knock it off cause that's kinda bullfluff. If Laf had come to me and asked us to deal with it, I would have. Instead I have angry messages from eug about how we're cheating and ruining the integrity of the game. Derp derp.

Dunno why I get brought up, I honestly don't even know who you are. Although in response to your statement, leadership generally volunteer their own countries to pay reps, its very rare that members pay them. Personally I used my country to pay reps quite a lot of time while I was a head/don. Though probably only once or twice since then. That said you do find those that arnt netgaining seriously volunteer their countries simply because no one cares about ranks 101-8XX.

As far as laf being set up for only elite netgainers, that's just plain ridiculous. If anything I would say evo is set up to cater of their "elite" netgainers since its always their top ranked players receiving free land/taking other peoples retals, getting tech leaches, etc. All of which laf's top tier refuses so as not to taint their finishes.

I wouldn't have played a country if eug didn't tell me we were warring evo.

I just don't understand how LaF of all alliances feel they have the moral authority to dictate what constitutes a "legit" top 10 finish given their history (both recent and in the ancient past). Just admit you're doing it to be pricks, because nobody except yourselves is going to agree to have LaF define a "legit" finish.

This is what I think every time I see LaF come back with a new wrapper(eg leaders) claiming to forsake the BS they've pulled in the past while still doing the same thing they've always done since forever.

One thing you can't have a go at LaF for is the teaching of the game, and that the don's put themselves before their members.

As a new player, everyone in the tag has gone above and beyond to help me out, and also the other players. I doubt you would see any other tag put the time into training that laf does.

As for Eug, SS, SG and whoever caring more about their finishes is laughable.

Just enjoy the war, don't pull out bullfluff accusations and make yourself look like idiots.
