for some reason mehul didn't "store" FFA winners anywhere like he did elsewhere.

web archive is good for strolling on memory lane looking at what tags existed on set this or that year this or that.

Now if you remember the merge of 1A and 2A, then I would say you are an oldie. Maybe not a goodie, but definitely an oldie. If memory serves. 1A and 2A were the two alliance servers. 1B and 2B were considered "primary" servers. Then you had c through whatever for random. But I believe XYZ was the original tourney.

2a and up tourney

3a ffa

then 4 for a little while was silver/premium maybe

and they were listed by what physical server they were on

limited was 4a and um/ec didn't get number just text and express (when mehul decided to have that) didn't have number either.

other old alliances: ruhtless ragnarok (might have had stint in ee too) and citadel (not many have fond memories of that).

Sorry, mine was the OG. So like 97-98 era. Way before FFA or limited. This was like Anarchy being a government timeline. You're referencing probably 2002-2004 time range.

Also, Genesis! That was a good old alliance. Thanks for Verenimija for accidentally helping me remember this one.

Oldtimer here, played on the 2A server in the Union alliance with a player I met in the randoms that went by the name CYBERMOUSE. That's back when you could buy/sell missiles. I remember there was a 3rd party site called Fast Eddie's? (can't remember the full name) but there would be announcements there about when a big batch of missiles were going to be put up for sale on the market.
It was after that I played in 1A for the first time, in TIE's 2nd set. I then moved on to New Monsters.
