That seems a bit extreme. Those bonuses still work and have effectiveness.

Are you saying that if I decide to put half of my bonus points into decay and spread the other points into other bonus(es), that the effect of decay on my country remains 0%? That does not seem correct

The purpose goes away.
If i have 50% rd and have a stockpile of cash around 50bn, my corruption charges will be 48m /2=24m.
Thats not an affordable expense no matter how big you are.
Rd bonus only benefits you if you can get it 100%. Even at 90% its pointless.
If one only uses points for RD then by day 47 he gets to 100% and Its already been around 5 days so without those points.

I'm aware of the strategy behind it.

The situation is frustrating to many, but I just don't find it to be worth all of the attention that its currently getting - Especially since it seems like a relatively easy work-around would be just to put your cash on the market.

I'll never understand why change is so irritating to some players. Being forced to adjust strategy for once seems like more fun than just pushing the cash button over and over again.

If its getting attention it there must be alot of players relying on those points.
Change is irritating becuase at times plannig goes into some of the strats played.
It maybe easy work to put stuff on thr market but itll be easier for the devs to just give some points extra all around..

well in ffa so far this 'delay' has cost me roughly 4 bil per country with it likely getting over 10 bil per country if and when fixed.... Fantastic!

yes it would be easier for devs to give extrapoints but even when devs were more active they didn't when bonus voting site had probs.

Ah yes a broken facet of the game is 'strategic'.
And having it break it in the middle of a set, rendering choices made at the start of the set - fundamental choices, like what gov type to play and what buildings to build - well, that's nothing short of awesome masterful strategery.

I've fixed this by bumping the other two sites up to 4 points instead of 2. I would try to repay some lost points to people due to the extended period of not being able to vote, but it looks a bit more involved than just upping the points earned from 2 to 4.

just an idea Zarcon, if you want to give extra points due to the link being down, you can bump the points from 4 to 6 for the rest of the set. that'll cover the 6 days loss of 4 points daily.

its been removed and the 4 points associated with it have been distributed among the other 2 links.

looks like they just upped the other bonuses to make up the difference. Works for me. But I would still like to see them use http://www.browsergameSlist.com to help bring in more players...

have you even looked at that website?! it looks incredibly lame and doesn't even have a registration or voting system. All of the games on the front page lead through to another site full of games. looks more like click bait to get ad revenue to me than an actual ranking/voting site.
