Simply put, in the case when we both gained land and you decided to farm me. From that point, you triggered a war. If you didn't farm me, we wouldn't be warring and you be happily netting for the rest of the reset.

but i really dont understand the point. he dropped in NW just as much as I did. and by the end of the set will probly finish with lower NW then me besides all his efforts to ruin my country. Maybe its because I like to net and not war that I dont completely understand.

the consequences werent very "deep" but ok if thats how you see it. Clearly this is what you must do every set. attack someone see who hits you back then sucicide them. Explains why you have only ever had 1 top 10 finish. surprised people dont put you in the same category as this JJ guy in terms of people not liking you.

I never post on here. Only for bonus turns. But sometimes stuff interest me, like this. dansteve has potential as player, if hes not JJ, then hes a good addition to the game community. What alliance he ever choose to join (if he does), hes good for the game.

so wait if you had friends who play this game is it agianst the rules to all be allies and team up? becuase I seen someone else made a post saying him and a friend were ABing someone and they both got banned. Not that i would ever introduce friends to this game as this game is compeltely different then any other game i have ever seen/played before.

lol no its not against the rules. But, if you def ally your friend and he gets a bad "start" retaled a lot, he drops you and put you into DR, by GS you 68 times. Witch means you can play your country with 0 turrets for 24h without anyone able to hit you for land. You can by that time get so much land and turrets, that no one can retal you and you will win. :P

thats against the rules. since its a indivdual server. aka no teamwork like that. (people whine about stuff like that on the teambased servers too) Also, if your firends are teching and you are not, you will leach your tech from your allies, wich means you dont need to spend as much money as anyone else on tech. Especially in the begging of the game when tech is expensive.

if you also have offensive allies. you can make huge grabs with less jets. (upkeep costs). This is nowhere against the rules.But if you have three friends running 4M jets, just for you, that is IMO. how do you prove it, you cant. :P

these are all "unwritten rules", but still "exploited". Gray area. There is people who use these methods. But there is still people who dont and sometimes win. so its cool.

ok thanks for clearing that up for me. I completely screwed this set up. I went republic, then switched to commie then to Tyranny. as soon as my hopes for a top 10 finish was out of the picture I completely stopped caring.
So basically anyone who knows they are not going to do well end game can blow the rest of thier turns screwing someone else over whos hit them more then once or not in GDI.
For exmaple: i had more spies 377k vs his 88k, troops, jets, turrets, and tanks then l33tz. I had 6.4m NW with about 120 turns he had 2.5m NW with 24 turns and 30m cash. he wasted about 40 turns failing spy ops on me and about 20 AB's all failing. Even though i have him out numbered in every category. If someone way weaker then you decides he wants to sucicide you can basically take down any country you want.

So next set I could pick someone near the top who may be 3x my NW, 3X my spies and no way I could even break thier defences in a PS but still figure out a way to ruin thier shot at making top 10.
I feel that is completely unfair and has most likely happened to people before in the past. I know an alternative to this is join GDI and not attack anyone more then 2 times. You can also stock up on tanks, troops and turrets but it gets to a point where you cannot sustain your country. Which leaves you no choice but to ruin your set and fight back. But other then this how else do you protect yourself agianst people like l33tz who have barley any hope in ever making top 10.

I am not losing. I simply dont care. I love the netting aspect of this game. My shot at doing well is minimal. 133tz you miss out the big point here. ans that is that you started by hitting him and DHed, you wasted his defense. his allies defense and an the turns needed to build that up. he after that retaled you. man cmon.

589 acres x indy production x number of turns left in the reset is far greater in value than what he lost.

My perspective was he attacked me and failed. I attacked him back and had a huge gain.
So he attacked me agian and gained most of the land back.

He hit me 2 times. I hit him once. And somehow this is still all my fault according to l33tz.

By your admission 133tz, you RoRed for 1040A+491A. You felt the RoR was fair since both sides gained land after the RoR. Dansteve didn't feel that way since he thinks you should not have RoRed, and RoRing while in GDI is essentially taking the risk of having your reset ruined (what Deerhunter said above). 133tz took the risk, and dansteve followed up on it.

There isn't really any right or wrong.

I'm not going to bother reading this whole thread, but I will state that the rest of the Moral Decay players who play in Express do not agree with 133tz involving MD in this matter. He should not have brought alliance into this.

It was not an admission of an RoR. I do not remember every country I hit especially given that I had hit 20+ countries before him. If someone fails to send a simple message saying it is a retal, I will retal the hit.
