I played like a noob... had to go run an errand with 2 hours to go. Got home with 30 minutes left, put stuff on market for resell, and got busy with something else. Lost $3mil net (stuff must have sold) trying to make $5 mil.. Stupid. Still, it was fun to get to play demo for the first time in awhile. Usually I get screwed with when trying to play a different strategy, so thanks to everyone for leaving me alone.

I was rooting for you. If I remember correctly you still won out on every grab thanks to ghost acres so they weren't terrible.

I would have done it a little differently, but it didn't work out bad for you by any means.

The ghost acres can be seen as a plus, but spending all that money on buildings just to lose them, plus military for 2 hits and any resources on hand...if you only end up netting 700 acres or whatever it's not worth it...especially when you think you could have gained more than that just hitting bots who won't retal...just a thought

When WWWBAYROCKCHEATSCOM hit me and I retaled, I came out with a 400 acre gain after ghosts, but I calculated I probably lost over 2 million from my final networth. Of course land trades are worse for a techer than for any other government.

Also, izmla spied on my market and bombed my banks, and then 5 minutes later bayrock messaged me asking how I had such a big stock on the market.

GDI sucks ! The last 30 minutes, of the set, GDI blocked me from any land grabs of people below me, or above me , I am not talking bottom trolling, I am talking about the players 1 or 2 place's above me or below me, well with in GDI Rules. WTF? I like to play right up to the end, I don't unstained the GDI interference. Some one explain it to me ?

If you're hitting people right up to the end, you're the exact reason GDI was made. Thank god.

You're looking at this wrong anyway. Even though rounds end at 8pm EST, you should really view the round as ending somewhere around 6-7pm EST, because by then GDI starts to tighten who you can hit around your networth. Think of the last 2 hours as "quiet time" to gather yourself before the round is finally over and rankings are established. But as far as strikes are concerned, that 'ended' at 6pm EST. So your round has actually ended at 6pm. So you ought to have planned around the round ending earlier, instead of whining.

I wasn't in gdi, I got hit all of 4 times, and one of those was a ror. Only reason I finished where I did was cause I thought the reset was ending a day later than it actually did

Actually it's the last 6 hours of the game. I believe this was implemented because people like you who weren't going to win would go off FUBARing people trying to drag them down, either to make yourself finish 'better', or simply to stop someone else from finishing 'great' out of envy(this is the real problem). Also, at that stage of the set people go into finish/jump-mode and so they can become relatively weak or loaded with resources and so a form of protection was offered. I think more people than not like this because there are already enough ways for the jackals to ruin sets and we know if they could, they would. If you're looking to attack at the stage of the game you probably don't know what you're doing net-wise and aren't going to win anyway because attacking at that stage isn't all too beneficial...one point is some people you'd piss off and they'd just war you in the final hour, another point is if you gained $60mil, but lost like 400k jets, that'd only basically replace your losses, so what did you gain? Some land? You'd spend money on building land in the last few hours and also drop tech%? That's a waste as your new land wouldn't out-produce what you spent in most cases, and you'd have higher net putting that money to MUs at that time.

Note: If a target has hit YOU at least once in the set then they're not protected by GDI in the final 6 hours from YOU.

There are so many variables in this game (that you obviously still don't understand).
I was speaking strictly from my current strategy which is a Techer. By the 6 hour window I've not grown in almost two days and probably still have my stock on the market. I won't even be using turns, so again... it wouldn't hardly hurt.
The only real issue it would give me is the timing of my destock as you've now shrunk my PM and the replenishment rate.

If I played Casher/Farmer/Oiler/Indy that relied on production up until the end, then yes you're stupid grab would hurt me. And again i'd laugh at you.

Why do I laugh?
Because, I'd finish better than you. You're using turns to grab with 6 hours left in the set... Not efficient.

You would think someone like yourself who has played this server consistently for so long, would wonder what they aren't doing right? Why they are consistently finishing sub 20m, and never able to take it to the next level?

But instead, you continue your antics... RoR like an idiot, and want to grab in the waning hours of the game. Congratulations!
