now, i wasnt aware of any scoring "fluffing" before the season, so i can not comment on that, but if Fox's default scoring is 1 point per rusing attempt then i doubt ill ever play fox again. the 6 other leagues on 4 other sites none of them give 1 point per rushing attempt. im really having a hard time believeing that that is a "default" setting on Fox and not ESPN, FleaFlicker, Yahoo, and NFL.com.
as for me being a "set it and forget it mentality" this is a what, 14 team league? i have put in for waivers every week however with this many teams and my poor drafting "i wasnt present" and my terrible injury luck, i have lost interedt in this non money league, yes this is true. However when a running back that had a mediocre 90 yard 2 TD and 1 Fumble day gets 53 points and my QB who had 200+ yards and 4 TDs only makes 30 points, that drives me a little further from the league as well. thats just me, i realize that some might be interested in a scoring system that pretty much gurantees every starting RB 20 points, but thats not me. that makes no sense to me, and i wont put a ton of effort into a league where i didnt take the time to understand the rules before i stupidly spent my first 3 picks on players other than RBs, and now it kinda fluffs me. thats partly my fault, but in my defense i have never, in my 8 years of fantasy football, been in a league with a 1 point per rush attempt scoring system.
other than that im 2-0 in 2 of my yahoo lagues, 2-0 ion my NFL.com league, 1-1 in my fleaflicker, and 2-0 and 1-1 in my ESPN leagues. so im not too stressed about dropping this league. sorry :)
