I can honestly say that I am the happiest I've ever been in my life.

why is this explain

1) i am in a relationship (7 yrs now) with a person that i truly like as a person.

2) no one has made me feel as loved as she makes me feel.

3) I love my job and the work environment.

4) I am making the most money that i ever made in my life.

5) I have grown into a better human in the last few years. there is still quite a bit to go. but I am no where near the self absorbed sociopath that I used to be.

6) my health is good. not the best but I feel like I have another 20 or 30 years left.

7) since November 8th, I love the new reality tv show that is on the air. it gives me hope for my grandchildren.

I have been shooting long guns for the first time in a long while. Went on an elk hunt in Idaho. Felt good to be able to breathe. Had some time to reflect on how one person or sacrifice can can truly make an impact on many people. In most cases, for generations. Weather you know them or not. Loss and tragedy, has brought me enlightenment. Has made me stronger in my convictions. More grounded and a source of strength to my family and friends. This tells me I am honoring those I have lost and respected, and the sacrifices made for me.
When disaster strikes, wade into the fluff, work through it with purpose, precision and diligence. What follows is inspiration, hope, pride, fellowship and accomplishment. Most of all, happiness and peace.
