im just wondering couse some threads seem to close for no reason

can i request one of my threads to be closed if i wanted to?

I'm not sure why all threads are closed. I know it tends to happen when threads start getting out of control.

I don't ever really close threads. If it gets out of hand I just delete the offending post(s) and ban the offending user(s).
