you sent all those spies to the slaughter simply for readiness? do you not enjoy a decent spal? if it wasnt happenin the first couple times at what point did you decide it might by the 40th?

First of all, it wasnt me, second of all you are trolling, third of all the reason all the spy ops failed was most likely cause the spal was horrible to begin with. And lastly he probably did that instead of get cash cause at least this way there is a chance of doing some damage.

Fair enough, I would have switch targets to spy op on myself after first few fails. Exploring is a downside for us cause we cant let our nws get too high on something useless such as land for the moment.

Farming doesn't matter too much, it lowers our NW to put us out of the kill range of most of your clan.

Please stop with the wasted spy ops. Just do all X for readiness :). You guys are to thin.

I believe that series of 2200 is probably an IMP rental player. Last set I think it was snawdog that was AB'ing me because thats all he could do.

He told me my country was ruined... i broke 3 more of the largest countries against us and could of hit probably an additional 5-10 days but the set ended after those 3 or 4 days.

He was AB'ing a restart with a 3mil NW country :P

Btw 185 AB's on many seperate restarts. I think I 1 upped kemo, lol.

I do understand the importance of SPAL just as you understand the importance of readiness. I notice that you edited out the successful ops, so you understand that not all the ops failed. I did not perform the ops so I am speaking speculatively here when I say he was probably rebuilding readiness and did not have missiles to fire. Your post highlights why batch explore and build does not work well for readiness, so you are left with 3 options:

1) harmful spy ops

2) cash turns

3) research

Research requires labs so if you have none that is out.

Cashing turns does nothing to destroy your enemy.

Harmful spy ops (however few get in) do damage. I am running from memory so may be a little off, but I seem to remember when you first posted this that 4 or 5 ops did succeed causing 5k'ish civ dead and 8-12k military losses.(I may be wrong about this)

The point of my post was ligh hearted not serious and it appears that you agree with me that failed harmful spy ops vs AB's = AB'er less useful expendature of turns. Which goes back to my point of you got spanked in your own trolling thread, though not by your own actions, and you are much better at making funny and thoughtful threads than trolling ones. (there are others around that have the market cornered on that)

As to the statement about spying himself, well, umm, yeah I got nothin to defend that, except he would at least gain readiness from it. :)

And honestly when you are trying to lemming down a target, I cant explore to gain readiness or build, too much NW. Cash is worthless on a tyr. Might as well try to demo who im killing. Even 1 op getting through outta 15 is enough to make it worthwhile if the turns are being burned anyway.

And kemo spal doesnt matter much to us, if we have enough spies to have a good spal, our NW is too high with no real military and we die. If we keep no land and high spies not much income and useless for everything but spying (Which isnt bad on its own, but Im too busy lemming'ing people to sit there and spy 50x a day :P)

Which is :We do have to be stingy with our military; however less so every day, and to waste anything that requires the use of turns to generate is not a great idea. I still however have to say that an unsuccessful spy op to rebuild readiness is not a waste of turns (as not all, regardless of SPAL, will fail) and that an AB, or 185, in war is a total waste of turns.

Also you are not as good at trolling as others in FFAT. You see reason and do not respond with ignorant, hateful comments.

Also, since each spying country did only 3 ops, your country may have been spied out earlier by another member, and as our member attacked he/she tried those ops just in case it might lower the break before he/she started hitting. If you look at it critically you have to agree the ops were not successful, but also not truly wasted.

I do not know if the country you took this news from is dead or not, but I can see how you could have logged in and seen the message that your country was destroyed and as you were reading through the news on it you saw those failed ops and wanted to share to vent a bit.

I don't hold it against you, but you did get spanked in the fact that your trolling attempt failed to cause ridicule of NBK and brought to light wasted attacks by AoDT. Also your post emboldened another of your clan, I believe the one guilty of the AB's, (this is my opinion not fact) to make his own posting illustrating the damage inflicted on his country and showing that though many ops do fail the ones that get through do hurt.
