Lol...GOTY been on PS3 for two years and people are still saying ti has no games. Both systems are great, but your a complete fanboy if your denying how awesome Uncharted 2 and God of war 3 are in every way.

God of War is a very good game. But its honestly not the reason I'm about to buy a PS3. I'm actually buying it as a Blu-Ray player. And to play the trickle of "Exclusive" ps3 games.

If the game came out for the PS3 or 360, I'd always choose the 360 version.

i have both. i havent played my PS3 since i bought my 360 a few months ago, however thats only because all m friends have 360. they both have advantages over the other.

Exclusive games are WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better on the PS3. Personally I'd say the Wii but the PS3 beats the 360 for sure. The 360 is the biggest abomination in gaming history.

The PS3 has Metal Gear Solid 4, Heavy Rain, Ratchet & Clank, God of War, LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2, Folklore, Valkyria Chronicles, Uncharted 1 and 2, Heavenly Sword, inFamous 1 and 2, Killzone 2 and 3, White Knight Chronicles, Resistance 1 and 2 all better then almost every game on the 360.

360 has Halo 3, which was absolutely terrible, then Gears of War which was okay, Fable was garbage and I never much cared for Mass Effect.

+ Gran Turismo 5 and the new Twisted Metal which looks awesome.

Not really. The market share between the two has been shrinking dramatically. Right now the Wii has a 48.7% market share, the 360 has 27.3% and the PS3 has 24%.

As far as hard numbers worldwide the 360 has sold aproximately 40.2 million while the PS3 has sold 35.3 million. Hardly a Mac vs PC comparison at all.

Moreover the PS3 continues to gain ground and outperform the 360 this year. Year to date the PS3 has sold 4.2 million while the 360 has sold 3.1 million.

Plus as I said the PS3 exclusives are way better then the 360's. Plus MS had an amazingly bad/weak E3 this year.

i used the 360 for a month along with the ps3

since last fall i have only used the ps3

i watch blu ray movies all the time and netflix which streams to the ps3, which has built in wireless

the 360 doesnt have wireless so its not online

i havent played games on either since the first month i had them either

so much for my attempt to be a gamer :P i hadn't owned a console system since NES either...

graphics have surely improved though, thats for sure!

i havent bought a video game on computer since starcraft in 98 either

Yeah Ratchet & Clank and LittleBigPlanet. Sorry I'm not a pimple faced teenager that only plays games with sufficient blood and gore. I play games because they are fun, not because they are neccesarily "mature". That's what REAL kids do.

Kinect is doing exactly what the Wii did but 5 years too late. What kind of retarded game has NO controller at all? The only games you'll be able to play are esentially remakes of party games and Wii sports. You won't be able to use Kinect for any platformers etc... Moreover it's going to be a huge flop because it's going to be $150 that no one is going to spend in this economy.

And YOU are the goof, Metal Gear Solid 4 is PS3 exclusive, you are talking about Metal Gear Rising, which is multiplatform.

Halo 3 is still terrible. There have been a LOT of crappy games that have sold a lot of copies.

Not including game exclusives Sony had some pretty cool stuff to include playstation plus+, the ps move, and 3d world by sony. all stuff that I think is gonna blow the competiton out of the water.

I mean correct me if Im wrong but they were the only ones who demo'd a game(killzone3) in actual 3d. (not to include the nintendo 3ds. Which I think will flop.)

also to mention the blu ray player that is already a stable in the ps3 system. I think Sony can call 2010-11 a wrap!

You are crazy if you think the 3DS will flop. Have you seen the lineup already announced for it? New Kingdom Hearts 3D game, new Metal Gear Solid 3D game, Starfox 64 3D, Street Fighter IV 3D, new Resident Evil game, The entire Shin Megami Tensei series redone in 3D, Bomberman 3D, Contra 3D, Kid Icarus Uprising, Paper Mario and Mario Kart 3D, new Pilotwings, new Sonic game, new Final Fantasy game, new Ninja Gaiden, de Blob 2, Assasin's Creed Lost Legacy just to name a few.

It had the best lineup with the most announcements of any handheld or console at E3 by a large margin.

i got a 360 due to the fact it was cheaper, and at the time the difference in graphics was negligable due to my tv.

i have not found a reason to go and buy the other yet, as the ps3 exclusives are not enough of a justification for purchase.

+ i don't like the playstation controller, it doesn't fit well in my hand. Prob due to my obscure hand size/shape...

Yeah not gonna lie the 3DS looks pretty awesome, and was the reason why Nintendo prob had the best E3.

Kinekt is seeming to be more of a gimmick than anything, you're supposed to watch movies without moving a single limb the whole time or saying anything? Plus PS Move seems just as good but more practical and already has titles announced for it.

360 has better controller by far.

ps3 may be a nice piece of technology but I compare it to beta or the old sega system back in the day. Only in this case you can't even take advantage of most of it's technology.

imo the polarized light trick for "3d" is very overrated in many cases and rather old technology at that (not to say old is bad, take a look at the success of the wii).

Most 3d movies though dont' really take good advantage of even the existing technology. I have to say that things like last air bender and avatar (the other one) looked a little better but the 3d "effects" were not comparable to the coolness I saw in orlando.

Show me actual 3d (read holograph no need for 3d glasses) or more effective use of existing technology (stuff actually comes at you out of the screen) and then I'll be impressed. Until then it's still somewhat of a cheap trick and not worth wasting my money on.

As for a 3d video game, you are going to have to do better than using low quality polarized light tricks to impress me. And yeah I know that that technology is expensive and a ways off :P

I may be a technophile, but I am a pretty demanding one. will not shell out cash for nominal improvements.

Disagree on the 360 controller. I've used it several times and it comes off to me as clunky. The best controller is the Wii-mote + Nunchuck IMO. Fits any hands of any size and lets you hold them as far apart as you feel comfortable.
