Baseball, consistently inconsistent streaks until September where the cream rises to the top, everything else is filler.

Nah idk. I personally feel like the sox just don't have the right mix. Idk. They're 5 games back of the Tigers who have the worst offense in the league by far, and were the most middle team of all time last year (81-81 with a 101 ERA+ and a 99 OPS+. In other words, exactly middle of the pack in every way possible). Too many injury prone guys, too many streaky guys, too many old vets. Just not a good mix of players who should be crushing.
