Just started work again for the summer and the earth portal is blocked by the 'Barracuda Web Filter' my work has apparently. I can get to the forums fine going straight to the forums.earthempires.com url, but if I attempt to go directly to the portal or click Play^, it gets blocked. Anyone know any ways around that?

Talk to a supervisor, explain that the web filter is affecting your ability to properly do your job. If he asks for specifics though you may just have to quit
