I had an abysmal set.While I personally think that SV has always been a better netter than me, I don't think he's as much better as our stats would suggest.

That said, I think SV put in a great effort and am looking forward to teaming up with him again next round.

According to my extremely accurate calculations, I will end with 101m ANW. That will probably be enough to win ANW, even though I'm jumping as a dictator.

If I do win, I will be the first ever to win ANW without placing a country in the top 100 :)

Eh, I was in a 2 man tag where the other guy was semi-active most of the set and lost internet for a week. And he only tagged up for the war. A war which never really officially ended.

Still. Detagging is lame. You should dance with the girl you brung to the prom. Or just go solo to begin with. Or join ESD.

I was solo to begin with. But then someone farmed me and told me they would keep farming me until I joined their tag.

I dunno who I killed, but I killed 4 of his countries because he was an intractable idiot. Dude thought RoR's was a good policy. Was that Paulie or someone else?

You killed the countries of Paulie's former alliancemate in Stones, who Paulie kicked out for his refusal to fight me. And I was turnsaving to kill those 4 countries because that guy did a grab on me from the Stones tag, when you killed 3 of his 4 with your saved up chems.

I've finally passed the one man tag that used the lame tactic of GSing their countries into DR. I at least left my countries out of DR so that any time, someone could grab me for full gains if they wanted to and had the military to.

If you get farmed, retal them, and war them if they don't accept your retals.

not everyones got time to war at the drop of a hat son. i sure as hell dont. if thats the only way you feel comfortable have at it. he didnt hurt anyone else that i can see. correct me if im wrong

If a player in NBK or CC wants to make a topfeed, and one guy keeps his countries in DR, that makes me more likely to get attacked if I don't keep my countries in DR. Similarly, if I keep 10 million turrets on 20k acres, and he keeps just 5 million turrets on 20k acres, I'm making him more likely to be attacked than if I kept 1 million turrets on 20k acres.

In my opinion, buying military is an acceptable way to make other people's countries more attractive than your own as grabbing targets. But putting yourself into DR is not an acceptable way to increase the likelihood that someone else gets attacked instead of you.

I'm not going to war people over it, but I do think its lame. If I self-landtrade, that increases the amount of land available to you and makes you less likely to be grabbed, and gives you better gains if you choose to grab. By self-landtrading, I'm not hurting you, and in fact, I'm helping you. Thus, it could even be argued that by not self-landtrading, you're hurting me.

XxX was farmed by Stones early on, and was probably sent the same messages of "join me or you will be farmed all set", and he chose to retal some of those hits, and chose to not do a lot of retals that he should have done. He didn't run retallers, so its no surprise that people will hit you if you don't retal.

When people hit me, I retal, often within hours of being attacked. I want people to know that if they hit my tag, I will retal, and I will not bounce. I also want people to know that I am willing to war at the drop of a hat. Even if XxX had just shown people that he would retal, without showing them that he'd be willing to war at the drop of the hat, he would not have gotten farmed as badly. When you let grabs on your tag go unretalled, or you retal them with DHs, that encourages people to grab you some more. When Stones farmed him, he didn't stand up for himself. He should have joined my fight against Paulie, but instead I fought his fight for him, while he sat around without good retallers and GSing his countries into DR rather than defending them with military.

How about i drop out my 10th best country and take the crown. Wont hurt TKOs finish by much.... Oh wait i remmeber why, cause its worth nothing when you do that fluff.

Dropping out of a tag to win ANW is lame.

At least I didn't farm the countries before they dropped out of the tag ... unlike 5 of the countries TKO has in the top 25 now whose landfarms detagged because they weren't netting.

So when someone in TKO isn't netting, they're free to detag even if they've donated their land to someone who is netting, but if you're in a two man tag, you can't detag if you're not netting, even if you haven't acted as a landfarm for other people in the tag. That's an odd double standard to have right there.

We have a 1B total nw lead. We could drop out our bottom 50 countries (which are all bellow 20m nw) and still win total nw, and also boost our avg by a fluff load.

if thats the case , we cant MAKE people stay in the tag if they want to go and do other things, so ur example rockman is just stupid

who has the highest individual anw in TKO? I'm about to reach 150m.. pretty happy with that.

Now why do you get to allow one of your players to detag because he's not netting, but I don't get to do the same with my tag?

It's cheesy to detag to win ANW. Myself, I never permitted a member to detag to boost our finishing ANW. When you do stuff like that, you're hoisting the Loser Banner.

ANY tag that drops countries to boost ending ANW is fail. Epic fail.
