Mars, I'll fire up ICQ and look.

Yes, LaE joinned TC -- Teal raped LaE with his bot, because of me being a fluff to his woman(what was her name?), TC / PAN refused to help. Thus my attacks on TC, more specificly PAN. Cham basicly told me it was my fault to get over it. So fluff TC/PAN.

Well a lot of clans leadership back then were a bunch of assholes. It's what happens when a bunch of 15 year olds are running around the internet acting like they're tough fluff

Yeah, then again... you find the ones who were in their 20's at the time that couldn't give a fluff about acting tough. They usually killed countries/tags as a means of keeping their word. (HTDP/NHDPxTC) LMAO.

That's why I couldn't get very many successful peaceful netting sets for TIE back then.

Either some 15 year old jackass would have to act tough when they did something wrong that I tried to talk to them about or I had bsnake getting drunk and killing my tag for funsies :P

You can definitely see that FFA is much more laid back now. There are still spats between people on the boards, but they never escalate to where they used to.

I played in TIE and RAGE at the same time back when Zeratul was leader and RaVeS was leading RAGE. We had both of them playing in DUEL / FFA along with Chris (UnGod) and Angel.

Well, some of that stuff (at least when I was involved) happened at a time when everyone thought I was a guy, back when I let my temper get the best of me, or had people twisting my arm on things I may have said in a joking manner and were "forced" to do as a means of keeping pacts, members, or from getting killed by one tag or another.

And I played in RAGE 1A, when RaVeS was the leader there too. My in-site name was Shi (Death) or Senryaku Shi (Death, the Art of War).

I find it amusing that anyone actually really considered Zeratul a leader of TIE. :P

In name, he was, and he was pretty active as co-leader with me the first set or two, but he was already starting to lose interest in the actual gameplay and have more interest in the development aspect of ezclan.

I'm curious though: Did you go by WarTime when you were with TIE? Because I don't even remotely remember that name and I was the more active leader of the two of us for the vast majority of the time. And by the time I started giving up on the game, Zeratul was already long-gone, so if you were there when Zeratul was there, I'm shocked I don't remember you.

Yes, I used the same name since 2001. I started playing in 1999. I had been a member of WaR along with Orkinman, Chipper, TopGun, Warlock and others before moving on to DoL with UnGod, Angel, Bomber, Stinky / Bad Dana and Worker / Slug and his son Cheesy.

I had a spy in TIE (for BOD) around that time. Twain = StratMatt, right? I dont' even remember now. Myself, and my spy, made friends with Sublime too. I don't recall WT being in TIE :P But I do remember him being in DUEL/DOL :P

Having a spy in TIE had to be the most worthless spy situation ever. :P

We just tried to quietly netgain pretty much all the time and tried to stay out of the big politics (and sometimes failed).

But Subby's a good guy. He's one of the few people I still have on my AIM list, but I haven't talked to him in forever. He came back and played EE at least for a little while, but I don't think he ever made it over to the FFA server. I'd assume he's probably not playing now, but I could be wrong.

Twain, I had a lot of spies... everywhere :P I was looking for any sort of hint of war for my leaders. I wasnt' always the one calling the shots.

I messaged him and he payed a set or two (after I quit) -- then left again

LaE was too in TC, I know this because for a while SOTA was using their site usimp.com/LEGENDS. Also there's this. http://web.archive.org/.../e3.swirve.com/cworth.htm I do remember WeLaEdTC or something similar being the tag, I also remember them getting suicided on for the whole set which is why it says "LaE Tired Of Retagging/Dying"

Strength and Honor (SnH) were also in TC, but they merged with United Paradigm (UPxTC) to make United Paradign of Strength and Honor (UPSnHxTC) a tag that didn't last long as the name and tag reverted back to UPxTC. Here's the Wayback Archive snapshot of that.

http://web.archive.org/.../e3.swirve.com/cworth.htm

However, JP. It does look like you're right about DWAR not being in TC. Although I could have sworn that they were in TC towards the later years of Earth: 2025 FFA.

LOL I know I'm right about DWAR never being TC, by the way on your snapshot if you look at the DWAR country names you should see some of the same country names being played now. LOL

Damn, looking back through the Top 25's brought back some memories LOL.

http://web.archive.org/...3.swirve.com/cmembers.htm

August 1, 2001. Second set in existence with nearly 30 people in the tag then. This was near the beginning of the set and not everyone had tagged up yet, LOL.

Yeah, there were a few sets where I played in the SOTA tag alone with 150 countries, and looking back while learning to netgain now, seeing the tag with networths lower than $200 million, and being able to hit nearly $600 million with sixteen now makes me wish I played as well as I am now back then LMAO.

ICey, I am not looking to become the *best* netgainer in the game. I simply want to improve in areas where I'd simply been too ignorant to try, let alone take any good advice on. My thing is, compared to say... a decade ago, I couldn't muster 150 countries above $3 million a piece. Now, I could produce sixteen countries between $30-50 million networth a piece now. And while you might not think it anything too grand, for someone who never really put any thought into improving on their networth, for me, I consider it a vast improvement.

Yeah, you forgot uTC too. I remember that set... getting shoved out of the Top 25 because you guys wanted *four* Top 25 spots even though you guys *always* used to win the triple crown with 4,000+ countries.
