I know right? I have a "new" eGo HD to back up my files so now I'm happy again with only 70GB used. Life is good.

CPU - Get the K (2500K or 2700K) for an additional $15 because that is the one for overclocking. The straight 2500/2700 is locked at its top speed, no overclocking possible.

Also, I'd recommend a $30 coolermaster CPU cooler so you can run it harder.

As for video card, I'd recommend a GTX 580, but that's an additional $300.

And to whoever posted about Apple : They use PC components now, and I'd take a well-built PC rig over an apple every day.. unless you really have a special connection with that brushed Apple aluminum.

i just built a PC today. if you have a microcenter local to you they have prices as good as or better then newegg. specifically their combo deal when you buy a mobo and cpu together

this thing is wicked fast. installed win 7 in less then 10 mins start to logged into windows. it boots windows in less then 10 sec too. cant wait to start OCing it.
