It seems you need more spies than in the past.

!!! Today I lost spies than I produced with 3000 indies !!!

The interesting thing about it is you can tell by how many you lose how strong the target's spy network is. So if I'm losing like 40k I might just stop and move on right away. But if I lose 25k then I know I should be able to get through with another attempt or two.

I actually think your losses are tied not to their SPAL, but to their total spies, so you can take low spy losses to a guy with low spies, but if he's real low land he can still have a high SPAL and be tough to get through on.

If i lose 50k spies as 'normally'.. And happen so i lose 30k on one op, it is very likely that the other party has very low spal, but due to unlucky factor, i failed that op..
