So my question to the cashers that are still grabbing is that does it make sense for them to still be grabbing? Can someone shed some light on this?

Actually, it'll make food prices better. If they don't grow, they stockpile food, so all of their cash goes towards food. If they do grow, then they only buy food that they use, and most of their cash goes towards military, buildings, oil, and tech.

The asnwer for my country is No, I shoulnt be. I actually shouldnt have made any hits after the 22 or spy-ops. That cost me about 4-5m less after i ran alot and I mean alot of different scenarios and numbers. But im happy this was a huge learning set for me again with a different and new strat to me.

No, I meant what he thought I meant and he's right, but-- I still think I'm right too! Yes, more food will be bought in the aggregate if they're stocking now, but still, as I see it, more land will mean more people to feed, and will mean when they do start stocking, they'll be able to stock at a higher rate, so attacking and buying military now will lower the demand for food, sure, but that's only a short term bandaid that ultimately will make the food demand worse on during later turns.

Do you think it'll happen like that? Will the dumpers still outnumber those who want to buy food up, when you've got 80k cashers and maybe some commies chomping at the bit to start stocking some food at a better price?

EEVIL? I don't think he is the standard for the CIs. The standard are Kinetic, Creative, and Sankara. Kinetic should pass 140.

jedioa/crest, y'alls estimates are high I believe.

I spied on EEVIL once or twice this set and was very impressed. I think he's never played better. I can't even try to guess the order of those four commies as they all seem very closely competitive, but decent chance I'd place Kinetic above Sankara. :P

I think 130m could be possible (esp with high military prices) but I don't see any commie getting too far past that.

well, the demo's potential is huge so it really depends on how it is played. If he doesn't do anything special, he will probably finish between 115-125m. Anything less, it's probably because he screwed up haha.

I think oldman's estimate makes a bit more sense... especially since he hasn't jumped at all yet and prices have gone up. I don't see why a commie can't make 125m, I made 125m a couple resets ago with FRANTIC and the circumstances don't seem particularly worse this time.

I'm revising the commie estimates upwards by 5m (to 130m) due to the price increase of military and food drop, and... as for the demo farmer... it really depends on how he chooses to destock. He could do as bad as 120m or as good as 140m! :P

hmm, the set's going to be closer than most people think. the 4 CIs are going to be close and will finish high (relative to previous sets). The rep cashers are wild cards (bushels still too high for them to pull something special). The theo cashers could do pretty well with current public market military prices since they can get $220/NW from their private. The demo, as mentioned earlier, is a big wild card since it really depends on how it is played. We might see 9 countries above 130M NW lol. The 125M NW club suddenly became crowded.

Military prices were always gonna go up with the breakdown of land at the top of the rankings so that's not really a surprise. Theos are still penalized because they don't have the PCI bonus and have to buy more expensive food this set to feed their people. Unless the Demo invested in decay, he's now gotta sell his food stock for a lower price (and the two best techers seem to have not started their jumps yet in earnest). Republic cashers finish 1 and 2, then a mix of the rest.

I'm just hoping for a top 3 spot now to make this a successful set. My top so far was 4th I think, and I've already surpassed my previous high NW on primary. Now if only I knew what I'd done differently this round. Lol.

J/k, I think it was a different approach/timing to gaining my tech.
