I know you fellows are planning on doing something about the ghost acres, what I suggest is that during a landgrab, make the amount of ghost acre buildings captured based of the % of buildings you have built.

Say you grab a target with 100% buildings built, you get full land and full ghost acres. If you have 50% land build and do a grab then you get 50% of the ghost acres. This will continue down to if you have say 5% built, you only get 5% ghost acres. This will allow pretty much everyone to take full advantage of ghost acres with hardly any penalty to themselves, and at the same time stop people from exploiting it badly, as most of the super landfat countries have very low buildings built. This would almost cripple the ability to generate land on your own, but at the same time allow people to do it to a fairly large extent, just not a ridiculously large extent.

i like k4f's idea. it would definatley limit self farming to a reasonable amount. you wouldnt have the top 10 dominated purely by land

I mean attacker building percentage aye. This would really lower the rate at which you can increase in land after about 100k acres or so. This will by no means stop it, but the crazy amount of land self farmers will not be able to get near what they can now.

And yes attacker %. So if you are fully built you will not get many ghost acres. This will not likely affect the game much because normal people only landgrab when they need more land, or close to it. Self farmers will grab with 10% land and just generate more with ghost acres.

ghost acres were a bad idea to begin with, time to cut our losses and end them

end the penalty for top feeding while you are at it
