It seemed like they used the pretense of the "bedding ceremony" to get the groom out of the room before the massacre took place. No reason to think he was killed.

He becomes a valuable link now that Frey's daughter is married to him.

I dont think i've ever watch a show that kills off pretty much all the main cast after 3 seasons.

I hope the hound serves arya. Bran develop his warg skill into WMD. Sansa kills Joffrey in some sick way(or normal way repeatedly). Jon Snow commands the Night Watch.

Just a few on my wish list.

I've been guilty of just reading 2 - 3 Arya chapters at a time, then having to stop myself and go back and read the book normal.

Those of you who haven't read the books are really missing something... they can only go into so much detail for television, so you're missing quite a bit of context. (Although having said that, I think they're doing a pretty freakin' amazing job at translating many really complex stories for television...)
I cannot see your signature - so if it's witty, put it in a post instead! :p

Every show that are based on a book will always be behind the book for obvious reasons. But from what i gather, this shows doesnt disappoint viewers that read the book as much as say, harry potter, twilight etc etc.

I havent read any but downloaded the entire 5 books. Gonna start reading them after the finale.

Yea, they're pretty damned good; there's a few scenes which have been slightly disappointing (Danerys end of season II; lack of Tyrion's chain across the blackwater) compared to what was portrayed in the books, but without an unlimited budget for CGI, time constraints, actors contracts &etc, I can see why they've done what they've done...

They've been remarkably faithful to the books, which is probably good, as I think it might be difficult to tell the story without being faithful to it...

should start a betting pool to see who else will die prior to the series ending lol. I guess posting names here would remove some of the guessing of who dies in season 3 of the tv show?:P

In a way it reminds me of Gundam V in that characters die. It makes for a more enjoyable read since you can't really predict the outcome knowing this fact, at least not as well..

Makes it enjoyable to a certain extent but let me just say that Martin has gone WAY overboard by the end of book 5. I am quite tired of it personally.

Oh and I'll put in some bets as to who dies in the next 2 seasons ;) 2billion bushels a bet. Anyone? :P

I am currently of the opinion that it could be 50/50 for the one I particularly care about. 50% because Martin is an asshole and 50% because lots of stuff points me to believe that :P A pity that fluffer will take 5 years to finish the book.

Kahl Drogo died from his wounds. Did he die from the wounds naturally, or the witch/shaman woman sorta poison/curse/dagga him ?

He insulted the Frey when he couldn't keep it in his pants and married someone else instead of one of theirs. There was no way they were going to let that go. The Frey don't really need him but he needs them. He's definitely dead.

Khal Drogo was wounded in battle, the wound got infected, he died. Danerys engaged a witch/shaman to bring him back to life, but he came back as a brainless zombie and she smothered him with a pillow because she knew he wouldn't want to live like that.
