typo in the ranksfeed where a country was listed as playing in reset 5114 instead of 514 caused the whole reset to be archived. moved back everything from the archive, but i haven't checked if anything got lost. eestats doesn't have logs. or backups :P

anyways, bad news is the server had to be rebooted after 504 days uptime, good news is it's now got twice the amount of ram, a whole gigabyte :P

thanks to serp for e-mailing about the brokenness.

thanks for the fix. was hell looking for targets with it down. its still a little slow though. :)

seems to me it's pretty snappy now, what pages are loading slow for you, and how slow? loading times are at the bottom of each page.

It's incredibly slow for me, right now.
eestats.com loaded in 55.84 seconds.

That's been standard for the last week

@bore It seems like eestats pages take forever to load only if you are logged in to an eestats account. By forever, I mean like more than 1 minute. Hope this helps to find the problem!

I've been experiencing the same slowness whether I'm logged in or not. At the present moment it seems to mostly be OK - not logged in. Logged in - took 96 seconds to log in, but then was able again to load pages OK after that was done.

Yeah before it went down I was getting 'Too many connections' error all the time. Some SQL query need to be optimized?

seriously! It is a godsend... especially if you compare it with the E2025 style of '20 searches a day' haha.

hehe, everything starts loading really slowly every time i try to load the top ten page. debugging now:)

logged in or not shouldn't affect loading times. if you're experiencing long loading times on something that usually loads fast it's probably due to someone else clicking on a page with a crappily coded database query :P

Shouldn't it just be a left join countries table with count of # news items for each country where count=0, order by NW and then same query by sort by Land?

apparently i thought nested sql-queries were much better! :D

anyways, all-x top ten commented out for now. all-resets history stuff will always be slow though, cause it's loads of stuff. (the db is a bit over 4gb now).
