Seems that they use tobacco plants to rapidly manufacture complex serums for some serious diseases -- in the news today for ebola, but also proven to help H1N1, Rabies, HIV and more....

So I am gonna go find my (very) old "Pride In Tobacco" hat from when I worked with some of those farms in the very same Owensboro where the vaccines are being made now! :)

Using tobacco as an herbal remedy rather than burning it and inhaling the carcinogen laced smoke has it's advantages? Makes sense. Just because inhaling liquid water will kill you doesn't mean you shouldn't drink it. Being innovative with uses of every day items, or in this case crops, is how big discoveries are made. Thinking outside the box ;)
