I think it's very server related. Primary once a day is more than enough same with Tournament (maybe twice depending on your strategy), Express I usually check every couple hours not to just play turns but to see how the market is. If I log in and military is $150+ or bushels are above $40 I just log off and wait.

hah when I suggested a bot to Getafix I was just kidding. my point was that the new bonus turn system in express makes it worthwhile which is silly.

I didn't think you were kidding blid. But the method I have found to automatically reload the country advisor page periodically isn't a "bot"; its a Firefox browser add-on called ReloadEvery. Very easy to use as long as you don't mind keeping a browser window open for the country 24 hours a day.

But I'm not sure what is meant by the term "bot" when its used around here. Are you talking about a PHP script CX LaE? That's what qzjul's bot program is written on in the "AI Server"

Incidentally, automatically reloading the page has downsides. It often erases ingame messages , and it often repeats a command if a window is open such as "purchase 5,000,000 bushels", or "spy"

So sorry about that doubletap Hawk :)
