I bow hunt, sorta. It is more casual for me to bow hunt than to hunt with my firearm. Even this year is going to be different for firearm as I can't use a rifle this year due to my location. Stuck with shotgun.

As for bow hunting, it is a different experience altogether, you see so many different aspects of the deer bow hunting. I like it for that alone. On top of that it requires quite a bit more discipline than firearm. The only thing I guess you could say is that firearm (I hunt out of ground blinds) you have a little bit less room to move. Either way, hunting is hunting. Love it all.

I own a Barnett Ghost 400, and it has 5 kills to its name.

Maybe crossbow is cheating, but that sucker is fast and accurate as fluff.

freedom. it is clearly why you troll every single gun thread made, and even some that have nothing to do with guns like this one. you are getting repetitive and boring. step your game up or sit on the bench.

back on topic, those pics were taken while i was zeroing in the scope before setting out on a trip a couple years ago. my target was that dense foam shooting cube or whatever you call that thing, and was at 40 yards

when i first started shooting it, i was nervous as fluff because bolts are like $10-15 each, and that target is no bigger than 2 feet across, with like a 1 foot across face. miss too many times and you go broke, lol.

Hmmm in Minnesota you can't use crossbows during the archery season can only use them firearm season

And yes the anti gun / anti hunting groups just keep spewing useless garbage because deep down they know how wrong and stupid their arguments are

in georgia you can use a crossbow in both primitive weapons season, and firearm season.

in NC crossbows used to be only for the disabled during archery season, but a couple years ago they opened it up to everyone, all season.

not sure about the florida regulations, i only fish down here usually, but i pretty sure crossbows overlap regular archery season as well.

bow hunting is on my list, but i have like 4 things to acquire first. tent, kayak, fishnet, knife, camp stove that can charge my Nook and PSP, and cookware that'll work on that stove. oh, guess that i should learn how to count also...

My country is extremely free. Actually is more free than a lot of countries in this world ( yours included ). That`s what happens with countries that leaves communism brutal and goes directly into democracy. People actually have to much freedom to play with.

One thing is true tought - they don`t sell weapons to all the "Bubba Gumps" - and i don`t need to carry my own gun to cross the street and buy cigarets, safety, without encountering a Bubba.
