Wow, this is highly amusing regardless of what you think of his opinions of voters.

http://www.alternet.org/...me-dems-have-been-waiting

On authoritarian followers:

"...authoritarian followers are both men and women, who tend to be highly conventional, always and easily submissive to authority, while willing to work aggressively on behalf of such an authority. They tend to be very religious, with moderate to little education, trusting of untrustworthy authorities, prejudiced (e.g., with respect to gay marriage); they are typically mean-spirited, narrow-minded, intolerant, bullying, zealous, dogmatic, uncritical of their chosen authority, hypocritical, inconsistent, prone to panic easily, highly self-righteous, moralistic, strict disciplinarian, severely punitive; they also demand loyalty and return it, have little self-awareness, and are typically politically and economically conservative Republicans."

On authoritarian leaders:

"These authoritarian leader types, who are typically men, will always have four clear characteristics or traits that distinguish them: They are dominating; they oppose equality; they desire personal power; and they are amoral. ... these people are usually intimidating and bullying, faintly hedonistic, vengeful, pitiless, exploitive, manipulative, dishonest, cheat to win, highly prejudiced, mean-spirited, militant, nationalistic, tell others what they want to hear, take advantage of “suckers,” specialize in creating false images to sell self, may or may not be religious, and are usually politically and economically conservative and Republican."

haha... now we have a whole laundry list of labels to throw around. Awesome!

"University of Virginia political scientist Larry Sabato, who has a very good crystal ball for predicting presidential contenders and races, has broken the massive GOP want-to-be field into five tiers to establish who is and who is not viable. Professor Sabato’s first tier GOP candidates are (alphabetically): Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and Scott Walker. Donald Trump, who is currently leading in the polls, ranks in lowest—or fifth—tier by Professor Sabato, who labels Trump a “gadfly.”"

Jeb Bush is on his first teir? Sorry but this guy's monotone speech puts me to sleep when he talks and he is not forceful in any way.

I would take Marco Rubio over him although I am a Democrat, lol

We need more democrate candidates. I doubt Hilary will get my vote.

Ruthie, I used to be a democrat when I was much younger and lived in Pennsylvania. Something happened to the democratic party that has made me reconsider being one. Now, I'm independent. I refuse to buy into either parties lines because from my perspective, they are both playing using the same playbook, and both of them use the same dirty tricks, and manipulation to confuse the voting public (which has demonstrated it's ability to be easily led astray by slogans provided to them by the parties), and to use the court system to make it difficult if not impossible for a "third party" candidate to have any chance whatsoever. Let one of the independents actually challenge the two main parties ability to get an official elected, and you'll see both main parties sue in court to challenge the independents right, and other things to get them off the ballot before the election. Suddenly they are best friends, eh?

Screw the main parties, they are what's killing us.

Trump is now suggesting that birth in the US should not immediately grant citizenship (despite the 14th Amendment), and anyone born in the US by illegal aliens should be deported. There's an irony in this, because if that were to come true, Rubio, Cruz, and Santorum would all be in jeopardy of being deported.

But they are citizens now, so I doubt that would apply to anyone given citizenship before the Trumpster would get in.

The way I figure, if he were to become Prez, he would probably alienate all of our allies and we would be an island surrounded by unfriendlies, lol

But he does make this ordinarily monotonous process quite entertaining :P

Citizenship should have a link not only to birth, but to passing an idiot test, and public service or military service.

There should be some payback for the privilege of living in the Nation that is the envy of the world for it's freedom, liberty, technology and capabilities. What's going on is the socialists and leftists are trying to bring freedom, liberty and technology to where they are the sole controllers of them, and no one has any freedom to choose for themselves when the socialists can choose for them.

These discussions or stated opinions get more and more stale. Visiting these threads is a mixture of rubber necking at a bad car crash and walking by each of you bent over in a line so i can smell how bad your ass stinks. Is your next thread to be about feminists and black lives matter?

Heston - there is no political position in this post. It is about amusement. This same "authoritarian" description could be applied to some E2025 personalities as well.

TipDaVampire - I don't think irony means what you think it means. It would be ironic if Trump's definition led to himself being deported, not his opponents.

I'd rather see the politicians deported than the immigrants.

Technically, the "anchor babies" he want's deported are currently citizens. It's obvious he wants it retro-active, which puts Cruz, Santorum, and Rubio in the same boat as all the other "anchor babies". I agree though, he is amusing. A blubbering idiot, but amusing.
