I just kegged up an ipa and brewed a Belgian pale ale today. brewing in the backyard playing on the phone. I guess mistakes happen. haven't quite figured out demo techer anyways. I had fun though.

I really need to get around to bottling up this IRA. Actually, I really need to get around to getting a keg.

I feel your pain bro, not easy living in a muslim dominated country; more so when you are not a muslim yourself.

From my understanding it's also illegal to brew beer in some muslim countries.

I tried making my own beer without a beer kit, problem was with the yeast; the only brewing yeast I can get were the one's used to make rice wine. The end product was not up to expectation though.

Cost wise I don't see much savings when compared to drinking commercial beers; definitely worth the time if you want something different though.

Nowadays, I'm contented with just drinking fresh palm toddy, wines or liqueurs.

No savings at all if you only like American or Canadian lager. It's hard to beat the big guys, they've got it cheaper than I can make it.

I brew for styles that can cost me 10 to 12 bucks a six pack. Then you can save money.
